As I mentioned earlier... Blessings duly noted... As Joe says, it really is
easy to attend a self pity party. For me, it was funny at work, yesterday after my accident. My co-workers were having a heck of a time, at my expense, prior to my arrival. They were laying it on thick, talking about my boss being away, and joking about me taking advantage of it... They felt real bad when I finally arrived with my stories of near death experience. It's a good example of how we tease each other, and was a nice break from how serious I was taking myself at the moment... Of course, I would have joined in gleefully had it been someone else...and probably felt a little guilty afterwards... :-) -- Andrew Kidd "Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers" wrote in message ... As we talked to the guy, I asked him if he had good insurance. He replied "I think so, but I'm not sure how they'll handle the contents of the truck." I asked him what he meant by that. He told me that he and his wife own a couple apartment buildings and he had roughly $5,000.00 in rent money (cash and checks) in a bank bag in the back seat that he was going to deposit when he was done plowing. Think you've had it rough lately? Janet felt a whole lot better about her bad day after I related this story. |
