Hey Justin, No hear in a long time. I keep trying to figure out how to
balance work and get out of the area long enough to fish one of the ROFB
classics myself.

You won't have to sleep on the ground. Edgar Evins is a state park

with very
nice accomodations.

Joe's going to give UL a call to find out more information concerning
Hurricane. I'll let y'all know when I hear from him.

Please advise as soon as you can of any changes, particularly in

lodging.
I
will be bringing a friend. Eating out of a lunch bucket is one

thing......
sleeping on the ground is another. I've already warned her about

Moe.....
But let's not get down in the mouth yet, there's always hope that

things
may
change at Hurricane Resort. Either way .... count me in and

.......I'll be
most happy to weigh fish.

Thanks Papa John, we are needing a Weigh-Master and was hoping

that
you'd
offer. Edgar Evins is a nice place with boat slips available and

not too
far
away from Hurricane. Our first Center Hill tournament was out of

Edgar.

I don't know anything about Edgar Evins. I had my heart set on

Center
Hill
and the Hurricane Dock Resort. The folks there took such good

care of
us
a
couple of years ago. I'm not really into competitive fishing

...... I
primarily wanted to spend some "quality goof time" (that's what

my son
calls
it) on the lake with a super group of fellows that are special

to me.
Many
good memories at Center Hill, and last year at Dale Hollow. Hey,

I
don't
care where you have it........ just count me in. There still

might be
hope
though. The lady I talked to at Center Hill said ....IF

......the
resort
could be sold between now and the tournament date, perhaps

things would
be
back to "simi-normal" by tournament time. I don't possibly see

how
.......
but there's always hope.

I talked to my nephew David by e-mail this weekend. Be advised,

he has
taken
a job at Panama City, Florida starting yesterday. Assuming he is

a
co-sponsor, with a new job and all, I don't see how he will be

able to
be
very involved. I'm four hundred miles away, but if there is

anything at
all
I can help with, my address will be at the end. I will even

offer to be
the
"Weigh Master" again this year. I enjoyed it so much. Hey, don't

laugh,
I
am
a "genuine official certified Weigh Master" with the Illinois

Central
Rail
Road.

Charles..... if there is anything I can help with, I'm a phone

call
away.

WHAT??? Guess I better do a follow-up!

How does Edgar Evins sound as a back up? Of course, we'll have

to
plan
our
own meals.

I just added my name to the tournament roster for the

Mid-Tennessee
Classic
to be held on Center Hill lake at Hurricane Dock Resort on

April
28th.
29th
and 30th. Then, I phoned to make accommodations. Much to my
disappointment,
I was advised by a lady by the name of Rita that there would

be no
tournaments at Hurricane Dock Resort this spring due to the

death of
the
owner. I was told that all accommodations would be closed,

including
all
cabins and the restaurant. Only the marina would be open.

**** Man, I wish I could make it down there to fish with you guys! I
had a lot of fun at Dale Hollow with everyone! But, with my current job
(On Call) and being very busy running two divisions for USA BASSIN
National Team Tournament Trail. My weekends get short with tring to
switch my ON CALL weekends!
I'll try my best to find a way. Thanks again guys for the fun and
friendship and just a GREAT TIME to be had at these get togethers!

I enjoyed it, but it wouldn't be the same without Bryan and his raccoon
friends.
