Just been rain and wind for weeks it seems. got warm yesterday 67 degrees
in San Jose, CA with 5" of rain north of San Fran. At least it is cooling some now. We get these Pineapple Express storms out of Hawaii once in a while and causes massive flooding some years. Will melt 10' of snow pack in 2 days. Bill "G. M. Zimmermann" wrote in message ... I have a bad case of cabin fever myself. Most of the lakes around here are still frozen, but I have decided that no matter what, I'm going to go fishing this weekend. The temprature is supposed to be in the high 40's (warmest day in almost 2 months) and there are several trout streams nearby that have been stocked over the winter. They not bass, but at least they are fish and they might even bite, and I won't be stuck at home watching the kids while my wife goes shopping...AGAIN!!! -Zimmy |

... I just can't stand winter no more. I see the sun out but the lakes are still 12 inches thick and show no sign of thaw whatsoever. In the past two weeks I have quit smoking(yes the wife is still alive) and re-organized my tackle, replaced hooks, line and made some good winter tackle purchases that were on clearance. Just got this "I need to fish bug" and knowing that I can't until around April is driving me nuts. Subscribed to digital cable for more outdoor shows and that just makes things worse. Could not stand watching Roland Martin reel in two Lm's at the same time on okechobee as I adjusted the thermostat. Just ranting away as the thought of Ice fishing just makes me wretch. Tried again this year and even caught some fish, but it's just way to wrong to keep doing, and too dam cold Cant wait to the classic ...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...vcant wait to the classic...vcant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic...cant wait to the classic... Hop on a plane or bus and come on out. We had highs this week in the low 80s. I have tips on a location for striper, and also for certain conditions on the lower river that may be interesting. The river has been up a little all week, and the temps have been higher. I imagine surface temps in the back lakes will be higher, although the river may be a little cooler with the bottom water being released out of Parker Dam. My back seat is open anyday I can get away and I'm not already fishing a tournament. -- Bob La Londe www.YumaBassMan.com All about fishing in Yuma, Arizona Promote Your Fishing Website FOR FREE |

Hop on a plane or bus and come on out. We had highs this week in the low
80s. Bob, I've gotten so used to the really cold tempratures (teens and single didgits) over the last month and a half, that anything over 35 degrees feels warm. I'm afraid if I spent the day in 80 degree weather right now, I'd either die of heat stroke or melt or something. -Zimmy |

I hear that, but if it was eighty tomorrow I'd be out with a rope and a
brick busting whatever ice was left.. and to Steve ...after 9" of ice it doesn't matter anymore : )....it's just all bad "G. M. Zimmermann" wrote in message ... Hop on a plane or bus and come on out.
