Any Revo in amber would do fine. Make sure they cover well. Avoid light
leaks around the sides of the lenses. Cheap lenses are coated and have a lot of distortion. You may not care, but if you try on a cheap pair and a good pair side-by-side you will be amazed at the clarity difference. "Mike" wrote in message ... Need some advise on a good brand of polarized sunglasses for fishing and where to get them. I'm more interested in functional than a "brand Name". I've seen them run from $19 to $250 on various web sites and don't want to overpay or underpay and get junk. Thanks, Mike (in snow bound PA) |

The only glasses I saw at Wally-World were "Renegade" brand.
"Bob La Londe" wrote in message ... I have Icicles, Maui Jims and Costa Del Mars. The Maui Hims are excellent in eveyr respect, The Costa Del Mars are good, but I personally don't think they are as sharp os the Maui Jim's. Before I got the Mauis as an anniversary gift from my wife I thought the Costas were the cat's meow. The Icicles are in my opinion over priced Wal-Mart lenses in more expensive frames. Not to put down Wal-Mart generic polarized glasses. At prices below $15 bucks they are pretty hard to beat, and I keep a two or three pairs in my boat for people who forget theirs. I have used them and even the cheap polarized glasses help to cut the glare and improve visibility into the water to some degree. -- ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com "Mike" wrote in message ... I have a buddy who bought a pair of Renegades after borrowing my loaner
glasses. He is convinced they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Of course the fact that he is a total cheap skate may have something to do with that. LOL. -- ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com "Jerry Barton (NervisRek)" wrote in message ... The only glasses I saw at Wally-World were "Renegade" brand.
