Yeah......with a better muse.

Wolfgang
it's like sitting in front of a t.v. playing a two minute video of jackie
mason doing knock-knock jokes.......on an endless loop......strapped in an
uncomfortable chair......on
amphetamines......with your eyelids pinned open. which, if you think about
it, is eerily similar to reading hunter thompson......hm........

Nice. My wife uses a G4 for DV editing with iMovie. Really nice piece
of kit for something nearly 5 years old.

I use a Powerbook G4. It's been a nice machine, but it's getting kind of
long in the tooth. I'll upgrade as soon as Apple comes out with a
Powerbook G5. That is, IF they come out with a Powerbook G5. Rumors are
flying that Apple is negotiating with Intel to use Intel chips. They
have a substantial power-consumption advantage over the Motorola/IBM
chips, which is especially important in a laptop.

OS X rocks.

Let me start a rumor then:

Indeed.

Careful if you decide to upgrade to Tiger with that PB G4 though. I've
decided to hold off. Many issues with various apps and I'm still not sure
if they've gotten Cisco to get their VPN client to work correctly. And, a
friend who upgraded to Tiger on both his PB G4s says that they run HOTTER
with Tiger. Now, mine already is pretty toasty, can't imagine it warmer
yet...

OOH! OOH! ME, TOO! ME, TOO! Microsoft bigwigs are quietly buying
Apple and plan on shifting its focus from computers to lingerie for gay
camels...it's first product is going to be "Frooty Wonderhumpers"

Well, in any event, they say "An Apple a day will keep the doctor
away..." I'd say it since that's about all they can sell, that's a good
thing since they can't afford a doctor anyway...

RE Mu floats an interesting rumor

Microsoft suck zhit bigtime.
Microsoft is the perfect counter example to the idea
of the magic of the market place: the most revolting
software won the race.

I bought a thousand dollars worth of Transmeta when
they first openned up...watched it double in less than
a week, sold off half, and now hold $500 worth of not much.

They do have a good idea--sort of the hardware equivalent
of the Java programming language. Anything bad for Microsoft is good
for everbody else. What does this have to do
with fishing?

Amen to that brother, amen to all of that.

Not much, that's why I put OT in the Subject: header.
On the other hand, what does tossing pork rinds have
to do with *fly fishing* ? ;-)
