I agree Bucket Mouth! This IS a great group and I am a newbie here too, but
not to bass fishing. Been doin it for going on 40 years, even guided for
about 10 years in my younger, more foolish youth.
BTW, I'm from White Oak, Tx. 35 minutes from Hawg Heaven, AKA, Lake Fork.

I think now that we are moving it around each year, sooner or later we have
to have the Southern Classic somewhere in "Hawg Heaven Texas".

Welcome NB, I am fairly new to the group also, and I too enjoy the
expertise that many on here share! Look forward to hearing some of your
fishing "startegies"! Size of the bass is relative to the area, so a 5
pounder in Wisconsin might compare to a 12 pounder in Florida....but ya
still gotta put em in the boat no matter the water ya fish, hu? grin

Oh man, I would love to go down south and do some hawg fishing. Someday
soon I hope!

My biggest largemouth is 22=BD inches. And it was FAT!!!!!

Not sure how much she weighed. Anyone have a rough guess? I caught her
in the summer, so she wasn't full of eggs.
