Steve - 2 things: what was wrong with your tippet? Were you breaking
off on strikes? 2nd, that stream has a lot of "Black Diamond" water and if the trouts are feeding with great abandon, that doesn't mean that they will chose to inhale your offerings. Were they rising to BWO's, microcaddis? tl lestrout
