Hmmm....well, the girls tell me I'm hot, my mom says I'm often obscene,
my grandmother says I'm often vulgar, I'm pretty sure I'm often
offensive, and I know that "apolitically correct" is gibberish...

....and assuming her "intro" isn't tongue-in-cheek (I didn't really dig
around, but I saw no immediate evidence of it), she's about like any
number of idiots who have staggered through ROFF for a few weeks...IOW,
she sounds like a more-masculine version of rw, albeit a lot better
looking and with nicer tits...

TC,
R
....well, that, and SPLORK VANG MU...

Listen carefully. It's not "hot." It's "snot."

Oh, geez... I shoulda guessed you were one of those "you don't really
listen to me" kind of gals...

my mom says I'm often obscene,

Listen carefully. She's not saying you're "obscene." She's saying you're
"a queen."

So THAT explains all those feather boas for Christmas...ah, well,
they'll make some interesting ties...

rdean theme song, to the tune of Funiculi, Funicula:

Last night he stayed at home and masturbated
It felt so good; he knew it would
Last night he stayed at home and masturbated...

Sounds like you're speaking from a wee bit too much experience...and as
it is supposed to be MY song, some might think you'd have the courage to
write it properly and type "I stayed at home and masturbated" instead of
"he stayed at home and masturbated," but at least you and I know you are
just uptight to be able to type that...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

....and oh yeah - she's more humorous than you, too...of course, so's an
episode of "Firing Line" and a dose of Avian flu...

Tim, sorry I missed you last weekend. It was optimistic to think I
could spend any meaningful time at the show and catch a flight in the
early afternoon. Thus, in the end I was forced to pass.

The cruise was a blast by the way. Bought and drunk one whole bottle
of JW Blue Label (shared with one other person I should add). Smoked
a few cuban cigars. Drank a lot of vintage port. Put on at least 10
lbs. OBROFF, I think I saw some permit in the blue water at Red Hook,
St. Thomas. The water around St John looked spectacular as well.

I think you'll have lots of fun with that rod. 7'9" might be a tad
longer than I would have gone for based on the streams I'd use be
using it on, but I bet it'll do a nice roll cast and the extra reach
can be handy for dropping nymphs behind boulders.

Do you have a reel to match it? I have a tiny Hardy reel (I forget
the model) for my 6 foot 2 weight and have it spooled with WF #2 to
help load the rod for the short cast (99% of the casts I make with it
are 2 to 15 yds). The line lands so featherlight anyway I can't
justify a DT for it.

Cheers,

Gary

Yeah - I was looking for a 6.5 or 7 foot, but this one called to me (and the
price was right.) I figured "what does nine inches matter?" Er, wait, let me
think about that statement. . .

I have a BBS-II and a CFO-I, and I like the CFO on the rod a little better.
The line I bought at the show is a WF (again, the price was right) and I was
quite happy with the test casting. We'll have to trade rods for a bit the
next time out.

Glad you had fun on the cruise, you domesticated old fart. ;-)

I think you mentioned it a few weeks back. So the spillway that comes
from the right side of the damm into the Y (and for the dozen or so
times not only been bone dry, but looks to have never been anything
else), is now full of water and spitting out lunkers?? I have to go
back to FL tomorrow (biz this time), but will be back this weekend. I
could pull a streamer down there for a few hours. Good excuse to get my
MA license if nothing else.

Water has been coming over the spillway for weeks. It's a rare event, cool
to see, and definitely can wash down some big fish.
