Aren't you going to make the MTC this year?

I've got about 5 weeks left untill I head up north to open up the
cottage for the summer. I can hardley stand to wait any
longer, especially since that 1st month of fishing is the best of the
year. Hogs up north & 100 smallies a day on St. Clair !!!

How to tell winter's been too long? Lessee....

a) I reorganized every bit of tackle and gear I own, at least twice.
b) Cleaned, lubed, and restrung every single reel, including the kids'
pushbutton "Barbie" reels.
c) Deliberated whether a fly or bait would work better in my tropical
fish tank (a wet pattern, tied to resemble their pellet food. The
pellets won't stay on a hook).
d) Actually trying to cast to the aquarium.

Thankfully, spring is just around the corner here in Northern VA. None
too soon. I think I could actually filet the plecostamus.

Nope , can't make it this year. I've scheduled in a week in canada at
my favorite lake with big bass and a 5 day trip back to El Salto in
December. Oh yeah a 4 day event with some of the guys from the bass
club at the cottage in May. So I'm pretty booked this year. You & Sean
will have to represent Mich. this year.
