Pretending I can use tools this morning, while working on some fence, I took
a nice large chunk out of the tip of my 'materials hand' thumb. Two hours of pressure later it is still seeping blood, but I tried to tie a fly anyway. It was supposed to be a spent oecetis caddis ( very important on the Firehole that last couple years ), but not only did my inability to grip things lead to a somewhat shoddy product ( it would still catch fish ), I got blood on the wing tips and body Does that make it bait ? Can I ethically fish this fly? g http://www.kimshew.com/BFP/fly8.jpg Larry ( who clearly needs more to keep him busy but who called friends in W.Yellowstone and Last Chance today and was told to not even bother thinking about coming early this year .... fishing will be a couple weeks 'behind' the normal schedule ... so here I'm stuck and I can't even tie flies .... um blood on the space bar ... yuk ) *** Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com *** |
