congrats...

but, of course, i know that it's the proximity to app state pulchritude
that's motivating you... g there are poorer excuses for pursuing
higher education.

Actually, I wouldn't have recognized "pulchritude" on campus, if it was
streakin' across Sanford Mall, if you hadn't pointed it out to me. More
than likely, my evening classes will be chocked full of 40 and 50 year old
christian conservative grandmothers! Not a pleasing thought, in my book :~^

Could be a cheap date.

Now I just gotta buy him a pair of size 8 1/2 wadin' boots and were on the
stream Sunday. I'll set him up with a nice 3 wt. rig and I think I'll have
a new fishin' buddy for a while.

I see. Purely selfish motives there, eh, Opus? Yah, shure.

Second piece of good news: I got accepted to the graduate program that I
applied to. It's gonna be a long 3 1/2 to 4 years of night and day classes,
but it oughta be a good learnin' experience.

Op --MPA to be, I hope!--

Good luck on that degree. But what's a MPA?

Master Public Administration--It's a degree that prepares one to administer
to the public, in a masterful manner :~^ )~

Best I can figure it involves this:
http://www.acs.appstate.edu/dept/ps-cj/checkst/MPA.html

Sounds cool. And even if you never move into an administration post,
I believe that some kinds of reduction and degrees add to your grade
and / or pay amounts.

That would qualify you to be my boss.

Should I apologize now for ever ****ing you off or is it too late?

I'm sure that we can work something out over the next 3 1/2 years. You send
me a current list of *all* of your flyfishin' gear and any acquisitions that
you might make in the future and I will pick out two pieces every two
months. At the end of the 3 1/2 years or longer, if I have any difficulties
in gettin' my Master's--what with the need to fish the gear I pick out--I
will let ya know our status.

Op --IIRC, there's a certain Hardy Smuggler that I have my eye on!--

Nice try bubba, but there's not a Hardy Smuggler in my possession. And ya
better hurry. I've about gotten over my apprehension and am about to place a
few pieces of tackle on ebay.
