Default Xmas aftermath

The national guard is already out dropping hay to livestock

Uh, Frank, could you please stay indoors during this endeavor? The last
headline I want to read this holiday season is "Nebraska Man Killed By
Falling Bale" (or "HAY! LOOK OUT!").

Hey (Hay?), I'm kinda like Boise State. Not pretty (do not adjust the
color of your TV. Our football field is really that color blue), but
with enough trick plays in my arsenal, I always dodge the imminent
death and remain undeterred and undefeated.
Did anyone else see them beat Oklahoma last night? One of the best
college football games of all time. Friggen awesome!!!

Yeah, it was a good game but it was also unfortunate because
it gives ammunition to those who want to claim that rinky-dink
football teams that rack up a lot of victories against a bunch
of other rinky-dink football teams in their rinky-dink little
conference should be ranked as high in the BCS standings as the
real football teams that play a real conference schedule.

The first sentence of the press release from the WAC web page
reads in part: "Boise State proves it belongs in the BCS ..."
Puhlease. And speaking of rinky-dink conferences, can somebody
tell me why the Big East is still a BCS conference ?

Probably because those who make such decisions lack the intellectual
horsepower required to understand baseball.

Lets do college football like they do basketball. If your team
achieves a certain ranking at one level, you move up to the next level
and play teams accordingly. In this way, Boise would move up and
Syracuse would play Boston College or some other looser team, the
Illini for instance.
