Sounds good to me. I figure worst case scenario, I know that my son in law
has a certain Nitro parked....... :-)

LOL, I've had it! At age 49, I'm now officially retired, whether I wanted
to be or not. I sold my FastCat so I'm boatless just as the lakes are
beginning to thaw out, and now we're under a Winter Storm Warning with 4 - 8
inches of snow forecast between now and Wednesday morning!

I'm afraid to find out what's next?

Yeah, life can throw lots and lots of curves. No matter how
bad your situation, somewhere somebody has it worse.

I just got a little 2hp Honda 4 stroke for my 18' Grumman
aluminum canoe so if you still want to show me where to
catch some Muskies we've got a ride. ;-)

Like I said in another message Ken, my son in law has a boat if needed.
However, I'm working on another boat deal or two. We'll see what happens.
But yeah, the offer still stands. One way or the other, I've got access to
boats.

What's the matter, a canoe not good enough for ya ? ;-)

We're going to be up that way from May 26 to June 2 staying at
Dillman's Resort near Lac du Flambeau. I've got three days
scheduled with a guide in Boulder Junction and I'm gonna drive
up to the UP once or twice to chase some little brookies way
back off the beaten track. I'd like to tack on a few days to
the June 2 end of the trip and get over to your place. That's
as close as I've got to real plans and solid dates right now,
the boss didn't sound too keen about it but negotiations are
pending. ;-)

Ken, I don't have a problem with a canoe, heck I even own one! It's just
that for the fishing I do, a bassboat works better.

Email me privately, but do you think you might be able to get here before
the 30th?

I've seen you canoe, and a damn fine looking canoe it is. I know Steve would
say the same thing, but I think what he's meaning is... I don't think a 2hp
motor is going to push him around very well! lol

Just kidding there Steve... How's Inky liking the Nitro? Ready to sell it
yet?

The canoe you saw is the cedar strip Navigator 16, my trout stream
and solo boat. I would never insult that boat by putting an outboard
on it. My Musky/Bass boat is an 18' Grumman aluminum and that's the
boat that gets the little Honda 2hp. It ain't fast but I make a point
of never getting in a hurry while I'm fishing so it doesn't really
matter.
