Woah, hang on there. I'm supposed to believe that you know how to tie
flies?

You can believe anything you want, but I'm telling you from my past
experience that wayno contributes some great looking flies to the swaps.

Yep, I've seen some of his contributions. There has never been any doubt
that they are the work of a true professional.

I've never fished with you when you've remembered to even *bring*
flies let alone flies you tied yourself.

Now *that* sounds more like the wayno we all know and love.

Ain't it the truth.

harrumph! bold words, indeed, from a greenhorn who has learned all he
knows from the old master of the blue ridge himself... excuse me a moment,
will you? karen? is it nap time yet, darlin'?

Since I'm on the list, I'll tye a CDC Dark Olive Emerger.

Hook Tiemco 206bl #14 (cause they look good and I have some)
Thread 8/0 Black
Tail White antron
Body Olive antron dubbing
Wing Light grey CDC
Thorax Peacock earl
Head Small black

With all the work already piling up, an easy pattern is all that I have
time to tie. I did raise a few Atlantic Salmon on a CDC last summer...
But this one is for Trout, Bass ans Crappies mostly. For the kids, it's
easy to cast, easy to spot on the water and it will float no matter what.
