After the accident? I can not imagine a seat belt causing a break
like that. However, as John has said, it obviously could have been
worse.

Details?

Dave (shoulders hurting just thinking about it.....)

That would be about as much fun or sport as a stick of dynamite.

Of course, ymmv.....

Yes. There's really not muh they can do, if things haven't changed since I
broke mine back in the 80s. I was given an arm and shoulder brace and told
to not to climb pallet racks. Did I listen? No, and now my left shoulder is
less wide than my right, as I separated the break and the bone ends
over-lapped and fused together over time.

Wanna come trolling?

Why on Earth would Scott want to be dragged around behind a boat as bait?

Just fractured - or displaced fractured?

I could tell you a horror story - complete with an 11 month wait to hear the
surgeon's notable punch line that "It looked like a bag of marbles" - but I
won't - unless forced ;-)

But a happy ending, with the only prevailing effect that I still set off metal
detectors...

(yeah, been there, done that, fired two Harvard bone docs along the way and
finally got repaired at Lahey Clinic by a kid 15 years younger than me :-)
