reply indicating interest in flyfishing

Well, I made an assumtion, and we all know where those things lead. I guess,
what with all the offers of luxury automobiles and gratuitous sex, I was a
little confused. I would apologize, but one should never apologize on Roff.g

It was really only a matter of time, huh. Mike?
What can be said? Greats- all of them. Mac certainly came a long way from
his classical training to assist in the pioneering of bluegrass. And I have
had the pleasure of seeing the Osborne Brothers perform twice in Bear Creek,
North Carolina.
We are very fortunate to have some of the greatest musicians known to man
come out of this area....

Gotta ask the question....How did an intelligent, articulate, and

accomplished
young woman with no particular interest in fly fishing find your way to

this
particular outpost of hell? {:-)

I very much enjoyed the thread on Appalachian music, to which you were a

major
contributor. I am a big fan of country music in general, and Appalachian

and
Bluegrass in particular. How come no one mentioned Mac Wiseman or the

Osborne
Brothers in the thread??

All considered, most especially a couple of OP´s posts, where he wrote one
or two things which he would not have done had he not known the recipient
beforehand, I would venture to suggest that Ms.Snakefiddler was dragged in
here kicking and screaming by hisownself!

The young lady has not specifically intimated that she has no interest in
fly-fishing ( or I am missing posts again!). Nor has she specifically
intimated that she has no interest in OP!

OP on the other hand.....................

T´weren´t me ma´am ! (That is what comes of top posting! )

I do however still have an old LP "Bluegrass Banjos on Fire". Have to get
around to digitising it someday. Think that was the first bluegrass I ever
heard, and fell in love with it immediately!
