Not quite true except in GOP World®. Al Gore had more popular votes total than
the Village Idiot, but not in the right states.

So Bush DID defeat the "best two demonrats"?

Thanks for the admission.

It made him feel all warm and fuzzy, until he woke up the next morning
and learned Gore lost the election.

FWIW, if you don't realize it, you (and any and all who respond without
trimming the headers) are cross-posting to a number of unrelated groups. If you
do realize it, um, well...carry on, I guess...

And also FWIW, I'm not singling you or your post out - yours was merely the last
post I saw in the thread.

Well, yeah...

"Modern Conservative: Someone who can take time
out from demanding more flag burning laws, more
abortion laws, more drug laws, more obscenity laws,
and more police surveillance to remind us that we
need to 'get the government off our backs'."
--Governor Swill 2008--

And he backs up his "ya well" with a quote from a buffoonish
leftwinger...oh **** yes..

Laugh laugh laugh

"Pax Americana is a philosophy. Hardly an empire.
Making sure other people play nice and dont kill each other (and us)
off in job lots is hardly empire building, particularly when you give
them self determination under "play nice" rules.

Think of it as having your older brother knock the **** out of you
for torturing the cat." Gunner
