Frank notes:
This is gonna get UGLY! We have strong (smelling) contingents from both
North Cakalaky and Taxachusetts here in ROFFland.

.....and some serious Pats fans who have been displaced for years from New
England, for instance, this one in PA.
FWIW, I would quote Mr. T in saying "I pity the fools" who have to play the
Pats, when Belichick has 2 weeks to prepare.

my take on the afc championship game is that peyton has never won
the big game that counts. he never got it done at TN and he
hasn't in the pros. by the middle of the colt's first possession
he had happy feet.... a sure early prognosis for the final outcome.

There aren't many QB's in the game with a better ability to find the
open receiver than Manning; his problem was that there weren't any. The Pats
secondary was superb, and their pressure on the QB was relentless.

oh i agree charlie.... imo, he has the best skills by far in the qb
department. it's just that he hasn't learned how to win the really big
games yet. if and when he does, look out.

lol humble like foxes, ya cheapskate hillybillies ;-)

i sure hope that outpouring of confidence you and the Boy Lawyer have
expressed doesn't go to the Panther's heads...

/daytripper (with supporters like you, Carolina don't need no Pat's fans ;-)

and i hope that the depth of your commitment to the concept of a pat

Yes but isn't that what the oddsmakers were saying about the Rams and
Eagles. Carolina was supposed to have NO hope of winning but look at who is
the NFC Champion.

It will be an interesting game.

Patriots ... head for Super Bowl for the second time in three years.

Oh, Mr. 'Tripper,

Me fears the mighty Patriots may be done in by a severe case of
"cat-scratch fever".

Uncle Mac

lol.
well, ok, but I swear I can already smell a Kitty Roast ;-)

Pats have Brady.
Pats have the Coach of the Year.
Pats have the Homeland Defense.

Las Vegas agrees: early line favors Pats by 7.
It's a Red, White and Blue Destiny!

Exactly! IIRC, the nearly-forgotten Rams were favored by 7 points, and had a
14-game winning streak at home. Too bad they wimped out at the end of the
game. I'd love to see Carolina win, but I think it's too close to call.
