Default the death of roff

Hi there, Speaking of death prediction, I find it really odd that one
of the on-line death prediction services showed me the same death date
that I was foretold in my dream about a year ago. http://yourdeathdate.info
- I can’t explain this coincidence in any other way except that there
must be some kind of magic involved here.

Magical thinking. Not the same thing at all.

The good news is that you WILL die.

People get driven away from EVERY place, EVERY day. *And it is rarely
toxicity that does the trick. *Look at religion.....ANY
religion.....for a case in point.

Ranting is fine

sometimes

and disagreeing is fine.

nearly always.

But this
place slipped into just plain ugly from time to time.

So?

I know – leave if you don’t like the place….

Yeah.....good plan.....wouldn't want to stick around and do anything
to make it better.....right?

gee......i wonder if anybody wonders why this sort of **** happens.

hm......karma, i guess.

Ahh, for the good old days, when we were all young and bitey. I look
back in fondness at the many hours, days, and weeks of wasted time
here - ****ing contests with Gherke, attempts to have a civil
conversation with Mo Skeeter and later RDean, and real, true
friendships forged and forgotten. Flame wars, nastiness, the
anonymous trolls, hilarity, wit and actual useful information, shared
flies, lies, and ryes - it was all good, but probably better gone and
buried in the archives. It was fun while it lasted. We should never
have let the AOL and WebTV crowd in the back doorg. I feel lucky to
have met a lot of the old gang, some of whom I still count as friends,
even though I haven't seen them in ages, and may never again.

Hope we meet again some day wayno, on a stream, or just near one.
