you *******s. i haven't seen that many caddis on a single stream in

the
old north state, ever!

Counselor, the Davidson has been known to have some rather large caddis
hatches, and a pretty neat green drake hatch too.

maybe, if you combined all the caddis hatches on hazel creek, for

the
last 12 years, within an hour, that display could be matched...

*could*...

yeah, it's a pretty place, for sure. and you never know who you'll
catch your best fish with, or why. that's the nature of the place. it's
life itsownself, running clear and fast amongst the hard, slick rocks.

Hi Warren,
Nice TR and nice pics. Hope to get to the Arkansas river in the next week
here in Colorado to "play" with the Caddis also.
I've had them all over my head, face, and waders, and in the bushes(like a
cloud when I walked through), and apparently inside the "footballs" I caught
stuffed with them, and on my windshield, but have not seen them in the
eddies like you showed. Neat.
Obviously I need to get out more this time of year.
BestWishes,

as fine an allusion and bit of literature in support of this madhouse as
i've read and felt in a while...
