Cabelas has been hosting Bush and his gang of thieves in various

locations
for town hall meetings. Here DICKs speach in the "Minnesota small
business".

I had them take me off the mailing list, River City fly shop never

looked
better.

I checked with Cabela's. Their response is below. It appears that
Kerry would get the same courtesy if he requested it.

Thanks for the comments and vote of support. Recently, we've been
taken to task for allowing politicians to visit our stores and we are
somewhat puzzled by that. We look at it as providing a public service,
providing a forum for the exchange of political ideas and information.
Informed voters, we should all hope, make the best decisions.

Officially, Cabela's takes no sides in the presidential election, but
have so far honored requests from the President and Vice President to
visit our stores. To our way of thinking, when the President and Vice
President of the United States ask to appear, well, they are the
leaders of our country and, politics aside, they deserve respect and
consideration.

It has been our policy not to solicit political appearances, from
either side, but we will show appropriate courtesy when approached.

Again, thanks for you comments.

Sincerely,

Joe Arterburn

If you believe that your dummer than a three year old crowbar.
If your a good citizen you should have been able to get into to Cabelas and
hear the President of the United States. These weren't civic afairs they
were campaign events for Bush and his Handler to get elected ( not
re-elected mind you) Cabelas made their store availabe for canidate Bush
and Cheney, not the president or the VP. If you wante to attend and your
a democrat, a Nader supporter, a socialist or a prohibitionst your SOL.
All the attendees are preselected and sign the paper that says there going
to vote for Shrub.

Jeepers! So much anger here! I wasn't trying to change your mind. I
just thought it might be interesting to here what Cabela's had to say
about the matter.

I don't think much of Kerry, but I wouldn't be upset of Cabele's
hosted a speech for him. How are we supposed to know how to vote if
we don't hear what these people have to say? Am I supposed to slam
anyone who provides a forum for Kerry? Am I to believe that the
audience is never screened at events for Democrats?

I'll bet you dismissed anyone who criticized the Dixie Chicks for
speaking their minds as right-wing fanatics. You're bitching about
Cabela's just for allowing Bush to speak. What does that make you?

Have a nice day. I'm going to do some fishing!

No Clear Channel Radio--right-wing media giants--have silenced the Dixie Chicks.

Obviously, if big business and industry have a right to prevent the American
electorate from voicing it's opinions, the electorate has a right to boycott big
business and industry. I guess that would make us equals?

That is right!! If you do not know who you are going to vote for, you
should listen to what Shrub has to say. Guess what? If you do not know
who you are going to vote for, you are NOT WELCOME at shrubs speeches.
In order to attend a shrub speech, you are required to sign a political
loyalty oath approved by the
Republican national committee. "I, [full name] ... do herby [sic] endorse
George W Bush for reelection of the United States." The form noted: "In
signing the above endorsement you are consenting to use and release of
your name by Bush-Cheney as an endorser of President Bush."

"The Arizona Republic had a political blogger there who said that he
saw at least one woman denied entrance even though she had a paid ticket
because they thought she worked for the AZ Dem party"

never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people,
and neither do we," President george bush (AKA president dumb dumb)
