Bad enough I can't get employee discounts
at Bass Pro anymore.

She gets Nordstroms, you get Bass Pro. She needs to get a job with a Winston
and Dewalt dealer.

Thanks a lot, jerkwad. Now rw is going to single handedly drive the market
sky high, and I wont be able to afford any new 'boo.

I like bamboo -- in gardens. It's very ornamental. For more or less the
same reason, I've admired the workmanship and prettiness of some bamboo
rods. But fish with them? Never.

got the cane...3 of em....one is a very fine zimbo rod used regularly in
the smokies. used it this past trip chasin sassafrass trout with asadi
and wolfgang. fun, sure enough.

but damn, i thought you were strugglin with a guilty conscience. my
abundant experience with guilty consciences led me to offer assistance.
i was just trying to ease your pain. so, perhaps we'll need to go
fishin sometime soon...you bring the boo and the graphite, and we'll
engage in a bit of therapy. g

well, now that you mention it, they do go well with graphite...

I am just appalled that a fellow liberal fly fisherman who claims to care so
much for the environment would stoop so low as attempt to foster the spread
of such dangerous plastic pollutants all in the name of acquiring more fly
rods.

Just think how cool it would be to cast a parachute adams into a chute on
hazel, feeling that rod load as your back cast unfolds, moving forward from
the brief pause and watching the line unfold and dropping that little fly
gently upon the water with just enough mend to meander dragless in the pool.
Tempting a native appalachian brookie to feast upon the fly and to feel the
fish tug on the line all the way down to the cork.

Do it man, save the world and get some cane. Your life will never be the
same.

Wayne
