If your sat dish goes out when a cloud goes by its not tuned to the satilite close enough that baby shouldnt go out until there is one heck of rainfall between it and the sat, or an airplane gets in the way. Get someone to watch the meter on the tv and make small adjustments to find the peak signal. |

I thought waiting for the official press release was going to kill me, but it's finally out!! After three years of hard work, major frustration and spending money like a drunken sailor with a weekend pass, it's really happening. Steve Huber's OutdoorFrontiersTV is finally more than a concept! We begin airing our first episode in April, nationally on The Sportsman Channel! Man, work, work and more work, wondering if it really is going to happen, then, all of a sudden, it's happening! Well done Steve! Remember, if you need any examples of how not to do something, I'm always available! patg |

Then, you'll see where to click and watch the show. There's a little ticker in the upper right corner of the home page that tells you what is airing currently. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

Well, here's an update to the continuing story.
The network informed me that we had to have the tape to them by April 1 in order to begin airing next week. I talked to my editor and we had a show concept in mind, and didn't feel that would be a problem. With one little disaster after another (bad audio, "technical difficulties, etc.), we had until 4:00 p.m. to meet with Fed Ex in order to get the tape to the satellite uplink site in Arizona. At 3:40 p.m. today, we left the office and met with the Fed Ex guy. The tape is now winging it's way to Chandler AZ and if all goes well with the network, and Fed Ex, you should be seeing my bright and shining mug on the small screen next week! Whew! That was cutting it just a tad too close for me, but with my head, what's a few more gray hairs??? -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

OK OK I signed up. Now, who is the smart computer guy who can tell me how I
can tape /record one of these many broadcasts that will be broadcast into my computer at 5:30 a.m. (an hour when I am sleeping!).??? Is there a product/software/hardware that I can buy to have this done for me automatically? I am SPOILED with Tivo and have no intention to get up to watch a program that I might not like, especially over the net. I can do all of that with TIVO via my TV if the channel was broadcast here, in Houston TX. thanks VM RichG -- RichG manager, Carolina Skiff Owners Group on MSN http://groups.msn.com/CarolinaSkiffOwners .. |
