And on, and on, and on.

Thanks for the useful flyfishing info.

Left edge of Centrist, but you already knew that, right Tim? If they had
thrown in a few religious issues I would have been a lot more radical (and
you knew that toog).

Where do I stand? Why after surviving four years in Vietnam in the
military and as a civilian, etc, etc etc but you are not interested in
that, I STAND for NOT posting political or ideological bull**** on a
group ostensibly dedicated to flyfishing! CLEAR?

What does this have to do with fishing?

Their definitions are **** -- Liberal as in classic Liberal,
neo-Liberal, UK LIberal, Canadian Liberal or what? Conservative or
neo-conservative (neo-liberal anywhere else)? What happened to
Socialist, Communist, Marxist,. Marxist-Leninist, Trotskist? How
about Facist or Nazi? Plain old Authoritarian or Totalitarian?

Methinks the designers of this little quiz needs to broaden their
horizons.

The "quiz" was designed by Libertarians and its purpose
was/is to convince people that really, deep down we're
all Libertarians. It's a crock of ****, always has been.

You know Myron,

I've seen the likes of these tests before, and as I know you're a smart
guy I think you realize that the manner in which these questions are
asked will be reflected in the overall result.
A really good psychiatrist (Is that how it's spelled? Damn, I don't
know if that's even the word I'm looking for.) could probably rewrite
the questions to get another answer allthough the substance of the quiz
would still be the same.
Some of those questions are leading you to the "correct" answer rather
than the "incorrect" which leads me to suspect that the questioner has
an opinion. I would say that the quiz seems to be a little biased.
Anyway, you might not agree (Which by the way is what a lot of people
don't get about Usenet. Your not supposed to agree, instead pick up on
the discussion rather than throwing **** at each other.)
The strangest part is that we usually fall for these little traps. I
should think it quite common to do so, even on ROFF (where I suspect
most people are above, even in some cases way above, normal
intelligence quota).

It is the intellectual property of this group that probably makes for
such a good breeding ground for all kinds of hostility. I saw David's
thinking that the only subject on this group should be fly fishing, and
disagree. Such a group would certainly die out rather quickly, however
great an interest/hobby fly fishing is (We are after all only humans,
and do need more diversity). On the other hand I reflected on the fact
that he is probably right in thinking the group is full of BS, not
understanding that this fact is something you definitely have to
accept, or else stop reading.

I'm babbling, I know! My only excuse is that I'm not an English native,
and as such it takes time to express what I want to say in this
language of yours.

/Roger

Yep - you're going to burn in hell (but you already knew that.) ;-)
Speaking of making you burn in hell, how's it going with the DDFS
photos?
