I shoot poisonous snakes for the same reasons people pull poison Ivy or swat
mosquitos... it makes a ton of sense. Mother nature is more than welcome to
replace them with the non-poisonous variety, and then we can all get along
just fine.

Just curious, why would you shoot snakes?

Funny, that's never happened to me here in TX. Of course it's always a

good
idea to boat armed, for snakes and such.

I grew up working in my folks grocery store. It was in a rural area of the
desert. We routinely killed poisonous snakes for the safety of our
customers. Later when I learned how tasty a rattlsenake is I always deep
fat fcried the larger ones, and of coursed tacked out and dried the skins.
I don't believe in wasting things if I can help it.

Two-legged snakes, Bill. ;-)
Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore because rough men stand ready to
do violence on her behalf.

From the article it would seem they should look at the shots the
photographer took and see if he has pictures of the guy with the gun aimed
at the boats and not at the ground . That would give them plenty of grounds
to bust the shooter .

They have some evidence now. King was wiping down his boat and found a
bullet hole. He's upset now, and says he will press charges.

My Dad and his grandson (my nephew) were in one of their favorite spots
a few years ago and heard shots fired in their direction, as well as
angry shouting. That pond was henceforth referred to as 'The Shootin'
Range' LoL
