Yikes! Sorry to hear that. I did the same thing last year (bicycle
versus car--I was on the bike). This is what I ended up with:

Since it was my left arm I was back fishing within a couple of weeks.
Wading across the Green River was a little bit dicey but there are
worse ways to die.

Yup - that's kinda what mine looks like - although mine is more in front of
the bone than on top of it, it's longer, and it has two more screws - 'cuz
there were a lot more bone pieces involved :-(

/daytripper (If I stretch the skin over it I can usually freak out an
observer when they make out all the screw heads - great family fun ;-)

Wanna come trolling?

Pete

Trolling is awesome. Trolling wet flies on lead core behind pop gear
is really awesome.

Remember the (3) F's of Trolling...

Fatties, Fat Tires and Fat Trout

In which case, I'm guessing it could have sucked a lot worse.
Sorry you're out of action. Glad you're (relatively) ok.

We have a lad in our local Disabled Anglers Association who only has one
arm and he ties flies and fly fishes OK.
