Barack Obama is a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine. He
did nothing to reform it: http://chicagoagainstobama.wordpress.com/
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...2600720_2.html

Barack Obama has the most liberal voting record of any other United
States Senator: http://nj.nationaljournal.com/voteratings/

Obama had his first political mentor Alice Palmer, thrown off the
ballot in Illinois in order to take her place in the Illinois State
Senate. It was Alice Palmer who introduced Obama to the domestic
terrorists William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn:

Michelle Obama was appointed vice president at the University Of
Chicago hospitals in 2005. In 2006, Obama requested that the
University of Chicago receive $1 Million to support its construction
of the new hospital pavilion: http://obamaearmarks.com/2008/09/09/...edical-center/

Citizens Against Government Waste say that Obama has an 18% rating,

Barack Obama criticized Hillary Clinton for her financial ties to Wal-
Mart, while conveniently failing to mention his own wife’s ties to Wal-
Mart: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...crite-for-wife

Obama voted “Present” 129 times as a State Senator to avoid taking a
stand on controversial votes: http://www.suntimes.com/news/politic...bama04.article

Obama claimed credit for sponsoring legislation that was actually
given to him by his mentor Illinois Senate President Emil Jones. Obama
repaid Jones with $300 million of earmarks for Illinois, including
tens of millions of dollars of earmarks for pet projects in Emil Jones
district: http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/3/23/224059/069

Obama implied he was poor and grew up on food stamps; Obama grew up
mostly with his grandparents, who were upper middle-class bankers in
Hawaii. Food stamps weren’t available in Hawaii until the seventies:
http://sweetness-light.com/archive/w...on-food-stamps

Obama threw his grandmother who raised him under the bus, comparing
her attitudes to Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s racism and later calling her a
“typical white person”: http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-t...ce_card_1.html

Obama removed his name from the ballot in the Michigan Democratic
Primary when early polling showed he would lose by a wide margin:
http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/3/9/211753/2995

In 2007, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama signed a pledge to not
campaign in Florida. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) was
punishing Florida for moving the Primary to January 29. Obama broke
his pledge and ran ads in Florida: http://www.heraldtribune.com/article...30668/-1/RSS01

Obama who runs as a candidate of change helped keep Chicago politics
dirty by supporting the corrupt John Stroger over Forrest Claypool, a
progressive reformer, for President of the Cook County Board of
Commissioners: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...n28028562/pg_2

under pressure from financial supporters at Exelon, a Chicago based
company helping to develop a nuclear waste facility at Yucca Mountain
in Nevada: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/290/

Obama claims to not accept oil money, but in fact he has accepted more
than $213,000 from individuals who work for companies in the oil and
gas industry and their spouses. Two of Obama's bundlers are top
executives at oil companies and are listed on his Web site as raising
between $50,000 and $100,000 for him: http://www.newsweek.com/id/129895

Obama claims to have no ties to lobbyists, but several registered
lobbyists have raised over a million dollars for his campaign,
sometimes having their wives write the check to conceal his ties to
them: http://americandigest.org/mt-archive...that_obama.php

Barack Obama Has Been Less Than Honest With the American Public

Senator Barack H. Obama Jr. repeatedly refused to provide any
responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage
Test when asked to do so by national leaders of the political parties,
prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard
Kimball, and Project Vote Smart staff: http://www.votesmart.org/npat.php?can_id=9490

Obama claimed, in front of a Jewish audience, that his uncle liberated
Auschwitz. American troops did not liberate Auschwitz, the Soviets
did:
http://michellemalkin.com/2008/05/27...thats-a-gaffe/

Obama claimed he was born due to 1965 Selma marches; Obama was born in
1961: http://www.talkleft.com/story/2007/3/5/201426/5656

Obama claimed the Kennedy family funded a program that brought his
father over from Kenya. His father came to the United States in 1959
and the Kennedys did not fund his trip:
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fac...onnection.html

Obama has implied that his father was a poor goat-herder. In fact,
Obama’s father was the privileged son of wealthy landowners:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...hreadid=427861

After promising to fund his campaign with only public financing,
Barack Obama went back on his pledge because he found he could raise
huge amounts of money on his own and exceed the public campaign
finance limits: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fac...ic_financ.html

Obama has suggested that people who don’t support him are racists:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcfeToczFnM

Barack Obama’s religious beliefs are not a good reason to vote against
him, but failure to be honest about them is. Why can’t he tell us the
truth? His mother was raised by non-practicing Christians; his father
was raised a Muslim, but was an atheist by the time he had married
Obama's mother. Obama's step-father was also Muslim, but of an
eclectic kind who could make room for animist and Hindu beliefs. The
Left apparently felt that Mitt Romney’s religious beliefs were a
legitimate issue in the campaign. Why the double standard when it
comes to Obama? http://atheism.about.com/od/barackob...Secularism.htm

Obama as Messiah???

Obama’s followers often compare him to Jesus Christ. MSNBC reporter
Chris Matthews said he gets a thrill running up his leg when he hears
him speak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uhnynk6XkkU

Many Obama supporters say Jesus was a community organizer just like
Obama was:

Barack Obama Lacks Experience

Obama spent 143 days in the Senate before he started running for
President: http://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/rnr/841195538.html

Obama has never authored a piece of major legislation.

Obama has no executive experience. He has never run a business or done
a pay roll etc..
He himself has admitted that he does not have the experience to be the
President of the United States: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BnLo...eature=related

His running mate Senator Biden charged that Obama lacked the
experience to be President: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lknTPvH1wSg

Without a teleprompter Obama is hesitant and confused:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDJSVPAx8xc

Here is Obama claiming he’s visited 57 States: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpGH02DtIws

Barack Obama’s Alliances are Highly Questionable

His wife Michelle charged that America was a mean country and said
that for the first time in her adult lifetime she is proud of her
country because of her husband’s campaign: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYY73RO_egw

His long time friend and mentor is Rev. Jeremiah Wright formerly the
Pastor Trinity Church who said instead of God bless America, we should
say God damn America: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hPR5jnjtLo

Another mentor of Obama's is Khalid Al-Mansour. Khalid Al-Mansour is a
racist and an anti-Semite.

Obama claimed he never heard anti-American, anti-White speeches at his
church; his own autobiography indicates he did and as he later
admitted under pressu http://sweetness-light.com/archive/o...say-bad-things

Obama is a friend of Father Michael Phleger a radical Catholic priest
who has honored Louis Farrakhan at his Church:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWigz...eature=related

Barack Obama is a friend of former members of the radical Weather
Underground terrorist organization William Ayers and his wife
Bernardine Dohrn. They were responsible for several bombings between
1970 and 1974 the Pentagon, the Capitol and a police station in San
Francisco. Ayers is quoted in the New York Times on September 11, 2001
as saying "I don't regret setting bombs...I feel we didn't do enough."
Ayers helped Obama launch his Illinois State Senate career, held a
fund raiser for him and the two served on the board of the Woods Fund
together : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxoiZdBSi-g

Obama while serving on the board of the Woods Fund with Bill Ayers
gave money to an Arab group that calls the establishment of Israel a
"catastrophe". Rashid Khalidi is the co-founder of this group. He is a
Columbia University professor and has condoned terrorist tactics by
Palestinian organizations. Rashid Khalidi held a fundraiser for Obama:

The Los Angeles Times is currently suppressing a video of Obama
praising Rashid Khalidi: http://article.nationalreview.com/?q...RhZGJmMTAyOGY=

Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam support Obama for President:
http://www.newsmax.com/kessler/farra.../17/65177.html

Obama has had a long and close association with the radical group
ACORN which has been tied to voter fraud in several states and the sub-
prime mortgage crisis:

Obama claims not to take money from Washington lobbyists, but he takes
money from lobbyists' spouses and holds fundraisers at the offices of
law firms that lobby Congress. He happily accepts huge amounts of
money from executives of big oil and drug companies and many others.
In fact, he's relying on two oil company executives to raise $50,000
apiece for his campaign: http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/2008/...-claims-o.html

Tony Rezko is a convicted criminal and long time friend and fund-
raiser for Obama. Rezko was indicted last fall on federal charges that
accuse him of demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state
business. Obama claimed Rezko donated only $50,000 to him. Later,
under pressure, he revealed Rezko raised more than twice that amount
and also sat on his fundraising committee. When asked about his
friend, Obama said, “I’ve never done any favors for him.” But evidence
proved Obama had written letters to city and state officials praising
Rezko’s business practices. Obama helped steer 14 million tax dollars
to him: http://www.suntimes.com/news/politic...bama13.article

Tony Rezko helped to buy Obama’s house:
http://www.suntimes.com/news/watchdo...hdog24.article

His running mate Joe Biden has the third most liberal voting record in
the Senate. He dropped out of the race for the Presidency in 1988
after he admitted to plagiarism in law school and in some of his
speeches: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/...m_problem.html

Barack Obama campaigned for Raila Odinga, a radical Kenyan Marxist
thug: http://jewagainstobama.wordpress.com...-raila-odinga/

Obama has said in speeches “we are our brother’s keeper”. But his
brother in Kenya lives in a hut on just $10 a year:

Barack Obama Advocates a Dangerous Foreign Policy

The world is still a dangerous place and Barack Obama has no Foreign
Policy no foreign policy experience. Rogue nations perceive Obama as
weak. Weakness invites attack. Perhaps China will invade Taiwan. Maybe
Iran will attack Israel or Russia will invade the Ukraine. Maybe
Venezuela will stir up trouble in the Caribbean.

Even his running mate Senator Joe Biden admits that the rookie
President will be tested in the first six months in Office.

Biden Slammed Obama for Voting Against Funding theTroops:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...den-iraq_N.htm
Barack Obama falsely accused American soldiers of "air raiding
villages and killing civilians.": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLlyjGjeZIY

Obama said he would have been against the surge in Iraq anyway, even
though he admits it has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hEzGKQLmU4

Obama is constantly changing his position about when troops will be
withdrawn from Iraq. Sometimes he favors a precipitous withdrawal. At
other times he says conditions on the ground will dictate the time:
http://www.ohiogop.org/spread-the-wo...-iraq-timeline

Obama's inexperience would lead him to grant legitimacy and raise the
stature of dictators like Fidel Castro, Kim Jong-il and Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad by granting them a face to face meeting without pre-
conditions: http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...64154241_x.htm

Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism. Obama has made conflicting
statements on Iran which is close to producing atom weaponry. Our
allies fear Obama will undercut progress in negotiations due to his
offer to engage in face to face talks with Iran’s President:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...062101658.html

Obama would fight terrorism not as a war, but as a criminal problem.
This is a pre-9/11 mind set: http://article.nationalreview.com/?q...EwNjg0MWEzZDc=

Obama would down-size the American military during a time of war. He
has pledged to dismantle our national defense systems, including
development of future defense technologies leaving us vulnerable to
attack: http://www.rightupfront.org/2008/02/...d-foreign.html

Barack Obama’s Policies Would Hurt the Economy

Obama wants to raise taxes to "spread the wealth around".

Obama’s tax policy that would take the nation back to the effective
marginal tax rates of the Carter days. He has called for increases in
payroll, capital gains, dividends and death taxes. He claims to only
want to raise taxes on the wealthy, but this could have a devastating
effect on new investment and small businesses:
http://www.wsj.com/public/article_pr...825890363.html

Obama would increase government spending by possibly one trillion
dollars in four years: http://www.usnews.com/blogs/capital-...ding-plan.html

Senator Obama voted against his own economic package. Sen. Wayne
Allard (R-CO) Acombed through Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-IL) many campaign
promises and compiled a list of 188 new spending proposals that he
then packaged together and offered as an amendment to the Fiscal 2009
budget plan. Allard calculated that for the 111 proposals for which
cost estimated were possible, Obama’s promises would cost the American
taxpayer $300 billion per year and $1.4 trillion over five years.
Allard released a floor statement highlighting the size of this
spending package, including:

The $300 billion is more than the $294 billion the U.S. spent on
imported oil last year.
Obama’s current tax raise proposal would cover only $225 billion over
5 years … far short of the $1.4 trillion in spending.

To finance just the first year of $300 billion in spending, Congress
would have to raise taxes on the top 1% of tax payers by 57%.

Obama voted against his own platform and the measure was defeated
97-0.
http://blog.heritage.org/2008/03/14/...-own-platform/

Obama proposes nothing new in terms of an economic plan. It’s just the
old-fashioned solutions proposed by liberals for years –tax, spend and
regulate that lead to economic stagnation.:
http://article.nationalreview.com/?q...ZmYmU5MWU2ZmQ=
http://blog.heritage.org/2008/03/14/...-own-platform/

Franklin Raines is one of Senator Obama’s advisors on economic issues.
Raines was the head of Fannie Mae which has now collapsed. Under
Raines Fannie Mae committed extensive financial fraud. Raines made 25
million dollars. Now taxpayers are stuck with the bill:
http://countusout.wordpress.com/2008...of-fannie-mae/
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fac...onnection.html

Jim Johnson, former Fannie Mae CEO was a top advisor, chosen to vet
potential vice presidential nominees. In 1998, Fannie Mae’s earnings
were manipulated, which resulted in "maximum payouts" to executives
including Johnson who earned $1.9 Million when he otherwise would not
have earned a bonus. Johnson received special loans from Countrywide
Financial CEO Angelo Mozilo. Property records show Mr. Johnson has
received more than $7 Million in loans from Countrywide since 1998,
the first coming in the waning days of his Fannie Mae tenure. Johnson
also received fees and compensation from Fannie Mae worth $3.3 Million
between 2001 and 2006. He resigned, but he's now back on Obama’s
campaign : http://www.barackbook.com/Profiles/JimJohnson.htm

In his campaign speeches he has claimed to want to renegotiate NAFTA.
At the same time he sent an advisor to Canada to reassure Canadians
that this was just politics and wasn’t true:

Obama will increase the capital gains tax which will discourage
investment: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalra...larifies..html

Obama's Affinity to Marxists Dates Back to His College Days:
http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10...-college-days/

Obama is opposed to renewing President Bush’s tax cuts which actually
succeeded in bring more revenue into the Federal Treasury.
Effectively, this will be a tax increase on all American who pay
taxes. On June 28, 2007 in a Democratic Primary debate Obama said
“There’s no doubt that the tax system has been skewed. And the Bush
tax cuts -- people didn’t need them, and they weren’t even asking for
them, and that’s why they need to be less…”:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/28/us...pagewanted=all

Obama proposes a Windfall Profits tax. Jimmy Carter tried it and it
failed miserably. It raised the cost of gas and led to drop in
domestic oil production:
http://www.taxhistory.org/thp/readin...b?OpenDocument

During his campaign Obama has criticized the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA), blaming it for the loss of jobs in the United
States. But he sent a senior member of his campaign team to Canada to
tell officials there not to take his criticisms seriously:
http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...0227/20080227/

Obama lied when he told Social Security recipients that their money
would now be in the stock market under McCain's plan:
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2...y_whopper.html
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/fac...ial_secur.html

Barack Obama’s Policies on Energy Would Keep Us Dependent on Foreign
Oil

Barack Obama opposes drilling on and offshore to reduce gas and oil
prices.

While Barack Obama has opposed off-shore drilling and a gas-tax
holiday (as supported by John McCain or Hillary Clinton), his solution
to our energy crisis does include additional tax burdens on oil
company profits, taxes we can only imagine will be passed on to the
consumer, thus causing an even more expensive trip to the gas station.

Ethanol subsidies are a major plank in Barack Obama's view of energy
independence and national security. He favors ethanol subsidies, some
of which end up in the hands of the same oil companies he says should
be subjected to a windfall profits tax:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/23/us...=2&oref=slogin

Obama is opposed to drilling in ANWAR, in a desolate tundra area the
size of Minnesota. The oil industry says it would need to use only
2,000 acres-an area no bigger than Dulles Airport, outside D.C.-to get
that oil. This footprint would be 50 times smaller than the Montana
ranch owned by Ted Turner: http://www.nationalreview.com/flashb...0503180758.asp

environmental friendly automobiles, he drives a V-8 hemi-powered

would equal new production plans: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.p...w&pageId=71044

Barack Obama Would Not Support Badly Needed Education Reform
Obama would block true education reform because he too beholden to the
teacher’s unions: http://www.boston.com/news/nation/ar...l_reform_talk/
http://article.nationalreview.com/pr...RjYTRjNjhkMmM=

choice which would especially help poor parents send their children to
better schools: http://www.nysun.com/editorials/obam...ouchers/71798/

Barack Obama’s Poilicies on Health Care Would be a Bureaucratic
Nightmare

Obama’s health care plan would not lower the premiums of current
payers as he claims.
His health care proposal will not create universal health care. It
will be bureaucratic debacle and lead to wasteful government spending:

Elizabeth Edwards Knocks Obama Health Care Plan:

Barack Obama Supports Open Borders. Legal Immigration is a Great
Blessing to the United States, Illegal Immigration Poses a Threat.

Obama Voted for continuing federal funds for declared "sanctuary
cities". These cities will not enforce federal laws against illegal
immigration. http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Bara...mmigration.htm

Obama Voted for allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social

Obama supports drivers licenses for illegal immigrants.

He supports health care for illegal immigrants. This is crushing the
health care system in some states: http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Bara...mmigration.htm

Obama scores 8% by USBC on immigration issues.

OnTheIssues.org interprets the 2005-2006 USBC scores as follows:
0%-30%: open-border stance (approx. 197 members)
30%-70%: mixed record on open borders (approx. 70 members)
70%-100%: sealed-border stance (approx. 202 members)

Barack Obama is Weak on the Second Amendment

He is unclear about his support for the Second Amendment to the
Constitution. Americans should not relinquish their legitimate right
to self-defense: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...040601652.html

At a fundraiser before rich, elite Democrats he mocked people who live
in rural areas as bitter people who cling to guns and religion:

Barack Obama Effectively Supports Same-Sex Marriage

Obama would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) which would
force other states to recognize same-sex marriages recognized in other
states like Massachusetts. So much for the idea of federalism!
http://www.windycitymediagroup.com/g...E.php?AID=4018

Obama supports strong civil unions for homosexuals. In practice, this
is not much different than supporting same-sex marriage:
http://www.insidesocal.com/outinholl..._marriage.html

Obama supports adoption for same-sex couples: http://www.advocate.com/news_detail_ektid58998.asp

Barack Obama Would Appoint Activist Judges and Oppose Legal Reform

Obama would appoint activist judges to the Supreme Court and appellate

Obama believes in a “living Constitution”. So a judge can change it
arbitrarily without having to bother with the amendment process:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/Conten...oyckg.asp?pg=1
Obama criticized the Constitution because it does require
redistribution of wealth in a 2001 radio interview. He called the
Constitution "a charter of negative liberties" and wanted to move

Barack Obama is an Extremist on Abortion

Barack Obama So Extreme on Abortion He Would Let Babies Die Who
Survive Them

Obama voted against requiring medical treatment to be given to babies
born alive after surviving a botched abortion. Jill Stanek is a nurse
who uncovered the fact that Christ Hospital in Illinois was performing
induced labor abortions. Some of these babies are actually born alive.
Jill Stanek saw one who was discarded in a utility closet and rocked
the baby for about 50 minutes before he died. Barack Obama voted
against giving medical treatment to these babies.

babies born alive: http://www.lifenews.com/nat4366.html

Obama voted against banning the brutal practice of partial-birth
abortion: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...8070510AAmIod2

Michelle Obama defended partial-birth abortions in a 2004 letter:
http://www.lifenews.com/nat4034.html

Barack Obama supports the extreme Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). If
enacted, FOCA would obliterate hundreds of state laws that protect
women, parents, children, and health care workers, while forcing
taxpayers to foot the bill for millions of abortions. It would
overturn commonsense laws like parental notification, conscience
protections, abortion waiting periods, informed consent, and
regulations for women's health: http://www.lifenews.com/nat4056.html
Estimates are that if Obama becomes President and signs FOCA it will
lead to 125,000 more abortions each year: http://www.lifenews.com/nat4359.html

Obama is the most pro-abortion Presidential candidate ever:
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=24354

The radio/ TV talking icons of that right wingnut set are still there, still
selling hate. That is what Rush and his type do, that is what their
incomes and 'prestige' depend on, and that is what their 'following' wants
and expects. They would go under if they just stuck to real issues and
the truth, or embraced the idea of a less divided country. They depend
on that unpatriotic division to provide for them because they sell it to
millions of 'beancounters' eager for a daily fix of the strong emotion of
hate those unfortunates need to hide the real conditions in their souls.

Hate almost always grows from roots in fear. Manipulating people that are
extremely fearful into the seemingly less uncomfortable emotion of hate has
always been an easy job. That percentage of humans all but hardwired
to be fearful have always been and still are, the segment that becomes
extremist. That is why those that want you to be an extremist try so hard,
first, to scare you.

The fear obvious in beancounter's ( and others similar to him ) posts is
thick and multilayered. IMHO, that fear defines those like him better
than the hate filled vomit they spew, it's more central to their core.

That comment from 'beancounter' is exactly the same as making "idle talk"
about flying a jet into a big building or taking guns to the school and
"showing them, all of them" We live in an age where such idle talk
must be taken very seriously. If I heard a teenager talking about taking
guns to school, and knew who that sick kid was, I'd report it to the
appropriate authorities for them to investigate, or not, depending on their
professional judgement of the real threat involved.

The Brits started the war by impressing into their navy U.S.
citizens on the high seas and illegally restricting American
trade with France. Not to mention arming the natives who were
fighting the U.S. at the time.

Apparently your Canadian history books are biased. ;-)

In many ways, yes. But does that qualify him to lead the country? I
don't think so...nor does it disqualify him.

5.Mac can keep things in perspective. *Age’ll give you perspective.

IYHO. I think Mac is too far over the hill to understand the modern
world. Leaders of other countries would not relate to him, nor would
the majority of Americans.

6.So will five and a half years in the Hanoi Hilton.

See #4

7.Because the various tyrants of the world see Barack Obama, and they
think “How Sweet. *Fresh Meat”.

IYHO.

8.Because France, Canada and Germany have both elected more-
conservative leaders since 2004; for once, they have a point.

IYHO

9.I’m not going to say “Bin Laden Endorses Obama” - but when Bin Laden
goes to sleep at night, who do you think he dreams will have his head
stuffed and mounted above the fireplace in the East Wing?

Oh, spare me. He wasn't afraid of your man Bush...McCain won't scare
him either. The way to get OBL is to work cooperatively with other
countries to track him down; something neither Bush nor McC were in a
mind to do.

10.Even if Bin Laden doesn’t think Mac’ll do it, he’s gotta have
visions of Sarah, Todd and Track Palin snowshoeing across the Hindu
Kush, finding, shooting and stuffing him.

GAG me!

11.Because while abortion has never been the sine qua non of politics
for me, it matters.

OK, that's a legitmate point on a tangible political platform.

12.And at the end of the day, Obama is pro-choice.

See #11.

13.And Biden is worse - a pro-choice Catholic.

See #11. And add 'redundancy' to that.

14.Because partial-birth abortion is inexcusable, and still Obama
excuses it (and I’ve heard Biden say not a thing about it).

See #7, and #11.

15.Because as bad as Bush was on spending, Obama will be much, much
worse…

Hard to believe, since Bush was single-handedly responsible for about
40% of the current debt.
http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/09...y4486228.shtml

But in any case, see #7.

16.…and “balancing the budget” with tax hikes is economic suicide.

IYHO. And FWIW, 'balancing the budget' with record spending is even
worse.
See #15

17.For the good of the party, the GOP needs to return to fiscal
conservatism. *Whatever Mac’s other sins, he’s got a much better claim
to that than does Obama.

WTF?? The GOP has NEVER been 'fiscally conservative'!! That's the most
promulgated myth in politics...the extreme bulk of government debt and
spending has been under GOP leadership! And how can you claim that McC
will be better at it than Obama? See #5

18.Or Bush, for that matter.

Agreed.

19.What I said in 17 about “the good of the party”? *The same goes
tenfold for the nation.

Agreed, but I think Obama is better equipped to do that. IMHO.

20.Because the words “Chicago Democrat” mean something.

IYHO

21.Because that something is worse than “Minnesota Liberal”, which
itself is a horror to behold.

IYHO

22.Because I work hard for my money.

Good for you. I think most of us do....

23.Raising taxes kills jobs. Including mine.

No way. Your job relies on a changing tax code.

24.Because Hollywood is getting the vapors for Obama.

Who gives a FF? How does that disqualify him??

25.Because a lot of bigots and racists want to think I’m a bigot and
racist for not voting for Obama.

Hmm, you're not making this essential point very well...

26.Because the 3AM Phone Call is a real thing - moreso in our world
today than fifteen years ago, even.

Yes, but you need to prove that Obama would not respond to the '3AM
phone call'. FWIW, McC's age would work strongly against him in this
case...

27.And Obama has shown us no evidence that he’s ready to take that
call…

Other than being intelligent and able to motivate support....essential
elements for handling that 'phone call'...rather than knee-jerk
conservatism.

28.…or do much of anything else.

Gag me.

29.Because Obama has voted “Present” in the Senate over 100 times.

LOL!!! Check your facts, man. MCCAIN VOTED 'PRESENT' OVER 350 times!!
http://www.votesmart.org/voting_cate...p?can_id=53270

30.Because Obama has spent less time in the Senate…
31.…than Mac spent in the Hanoi Hilton. *Yes, Mr. Messiah, sir,
experience counts.

Curious how you can endorse Palin, then.

32.Because while I believe Obama isn’t a bad person, his presidency
will grant sweeping power to the Pelosi/Reid Congress, perhaps the
most depraved pack of hacks ever to wield political power in the
history of this country.

IYHO several times over.

33.No, I mean the most depraved pack of hacks, just like I wrote it.
The post-Watergate Democrats were at least largely people with their
nation’s best interests at heart; many were WWII and Korea veterans,
people for whom the flag meant something. *If you’re to the right of
Jane Fonda, the Reid-Pelosi Axis of Weasels should make your skin
crawl.

Hmm, IYHO again (and again and again)

34.Because Sarah Palin, as relatively new to politics as she may be,
is vastly more qualified to lead the most powerful nation on earth
than Barack Obama is.

see IYHO above, in many places

35.Because having Joe Biden a heartbeat away from the presidency
scares me a lot more than having Sarah Palin there.

See #31

36.Because having Joe Biden a heartbeat away from the presidency
scares me more than having Courtney Love, Lindsay Lohan or Crispin
Glover there.

Good thing none of them are VP. See #31. And you KNOW you're a
lunatic, right?

37.Because Mac will extend the Bush Tax Cuts. *Because…
38.…tax cuts are always good. Always. There are no exceptions.

Wow, don't even know where to begin.

Especially if they force you to cut spending.

I almost agree. Cutting spending = good. Depending on where its
cut....and somehow I think we differ on this.

39.Mac may not cut spending - but he will be not nearly the
spendthrift Bush was…
40.…and a year into an Obama administration, Bush will seem like a
miser.

LOL. Hard to believe...see #15

41.Because hundreds of union goons can’t be right.

Huh?

42.Because, unlike millions of “people” registered by ACORN and the
like, I exist, and someone needs to stand up for all of us actual
humans.

MILLIONS?? They only registered about 1.5 million nationwide, and at
least some of those were real people. Besides, how many of those
fraudulent 'millions' actually cast a vote?

43.Because all of the fictional “people” that sent anonymous (and
illegal) contributions to Obama’s donations will be rendered moot by
everyone who repudiates their fraud.

I have no idea what you are saying here.

44.Because every vote against The One is a finger in the eye of
MoveOn, George Soros (and his paid minions), Democrats.com, Media
Matters, and on, and on, and on.

Now, that doesn't sound very American to me.

45.Because Mac has a lifetime A from the NRA…

OK, see #11, sort of. Add IYHO to it.

46.…and Obama was for gun control, before he was against it…

BFD.

47.…before, given the company he keeps (and the chits he owes), he
will no doubt be for it again

So help me here...is it GOOD that he'll end up in favor, or bad? And
IYHO

48.Because too many of Obama’s supporters have been just too
insufferably triumphalistic.

Yeah, turnabout sucks, eh?

49.Because just enough of Obama’s supporters have pledged to do
crappy, unamerican things if Obama loses…

LOL, coming from you.

50.…and an Obama loss will be a wonderful way to flush out what truly
must be called “Unamerican” - the rejection of the votes of ones’
fellow citizens. *Let us get them out into the open - indeed, let them
“McCarthy-ize” themselves - so we can do something about them.

What?!? You have gone off the deep end, buddy.

51.Because Obama will make Jimmy Carter look like a wise, cool-headed,
competent statesman.

Jimmy Carter IS. And IYHO

52.Because it’ll give Keith Olberman a stroke.

WGAF (also for 53-56)

53.Because Chris Matthews’ leg will finally stop tingling.
54.Because I’m dying to see Katie Couric’s face the morning after.
55.Because P. Diddy and Sam I Am will stroke out.
56.Because Mac is old enough to to give a rat’s ass what people think
about him…
57.…and Obama seems to need approval.

LOL. IYHO

58.Because Mac blows up at people and the press…

Irrationality is always a good characteristic in a president.

59.…but hasn’t ever kicked anyone off his plane.

BFD. And this counters your point #58

60.In spite of Because Palin is such a lightning rod for the paranoia
and misogyny of the institutional left.

So if you like lighning rods, you must LOVE a black muslim president.

61.Because Sarah Palin has teenagers who’ve made her life difficult…
62.…and an infant whose very existence upholds the value of life…

Or shows the inconsistency in her preaching.

63.…a fact that makes the Orthodox Left purple with rage.

Whoever they are.

64.Because while Obama might have a bracelet from a soldier whose name
he can’t remember, Mac has two sons who are veterans…

'might'?

65.…and a son who’s an enlisted Marine serving overseas…
66.…where Track Palin is right now. *Yes, I do *think having an
investment in the issue will make for better, saner leadership - and
certainly less palaver about, say, invading Pakistan.

I tend to agree with you about that. More congressmen and senators
should have kids overseas.

67.Because while I’ve been a conservative for over 20 years, I grew up
a Democrat, around enough Democrats to care what happens to the party.
John F. Kennedy and Harry Truman would puke if they saw what Howard
Dean and Nancy Pelosi and Michaal Moore had done with their party. If
you’re a responsible Democrat, so should you. Help your party re-
discover its real legacy by sending John Kerry back to palookaville.

Hmm, there is very little substance here.

68.Because Jimmy Carter endorses Obama.

As does the majority of America, at last count.

69.Because the only evidence I’ve seen about Obama’s performance under
pressure - his response to Georgia - makes Jimmy Carter look pretty
good in comparison.

I think running a Presidential campaign qualifies for 'performance
under pressure', and he beat the nads off of McC.

70.Also Neville Chamberlain.

BFD

71.Because I love my country more than I love the UN.

They are almost one and the same.

72.Because the GOP embodies confidence in this nation - something the
Democrats do not. *Belief that the US could be a good nation if we
adopted their platform in toto, perhaps, but not confidence.

Did you just fall off a truck? The GOP embodies raping and pillaging
this nation. Check the local papers.

73.Also exceptionalism. *America is the shining city…

Yeah, we tolerate nutjobs like the extreme right.

74.…which is a notion that makes Obama’s most-vital supporters
nauseous.

Not hardly.

75.Because Obama, like Kerry and Algore and Carter, consistently
mistakes “plans” and “summits” and “negotiation” for productive
action.

Like 'unilateral attacks' and 'unjustified warfare' and 'undocumented
WMDs'

76.Because as we saw in the wake of the market meltdown, Mac will put
“doing the right thing” ahead of political expediency.

You mean like run to Washington and do nothing?

77.Obama wouldn’t know how. *Like with Kerry and Gore, ”the right
thing” changes depending on the audience he’s talking with.

Hmm, IYHO.

78.Because I’m a “bitter, gun-clinging Jesus Freak”, and damn proud of
it.

No surprises there. Except for the Jesus Freak part.

79.Because I am Joe The Plumber.

I gathered that. Got those licenses to practice your profession yet?

80.Because I value freedom of speech - everyone’s speech, including
speech I disagree with - and an Obama Administration (and a Congress
under the unfettered control of the Tics) will start with imposing the
“Fairness Doctrine” to strangle conservative talk radio by fiat, and
start working its way down.

Conservative Talk Radio deserves to be flushed down the toilet. It's
destructive entertainment and radical divicive jingoism at its worst.
The US is nothing but worse off because of it.

Yet, I defend its right to exist. I just wish more Americans were wise
enough to not believe all that garbage and hate-spew. Folks like you.

81.Because you know people by their friends. *And Obama’s friends
include the Teachers’ Union…
82.…and the AFL-CIO…
83.…and AFSCME…
84.…and his “Mentor” Jeremiah Wright…
85.…and Bill Ayers.

Gee, he has only these people for friends? How did he ever get
endorsements like Colin Powell, etcetcetcetcetc...

86.Because Mac has one genuine skeleton in his closet - being part of
the Keating Five, albeit its least consequent member - and he’s owned
up to and made amends for it.

Maybe that's because McC doesn't take a stance on anything.

87.Becasue I survived the Carter years…
88.…and I don’t want my kids to have to do the same. *Indeed, I’ve
spent my entire adult life dedicated to trying to prevent that.

So how's it going?

89.Because this nation’s “soul” is in fine shape, and doesn’t need any
politician to fix it.

So you're now an Anarchist? Besides, last I checked, I think America
has lost its soul. You need to get out of the country more...but I
guess you don't really care about the 'outside world'...

90.Because, as I noted (presciently?) four years ago: *this country is
a better place with Republicans in charge. Lower taxes, lower
spending, smaller government…oops. Yeah, we conservatives have to take
our party back. Guess what? It’s easier to do when you’re in office.

How the hell do you say 'lower spending'???? Smaller government???
See #whatever above.

91.Because the Media deserves a huge, stinging rebuke for having been
in the tank for the left for the past 30 years. They deserve it more
now than they did four years ago. *Every year, I’m more convinced that
this nation’s well-being, even survival, depends on bringing the
mainstream media down to size.

LOL.
http://www.thenation.com/doc/20021125/alterman

92.Because I supported Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson until there was
nothing more to support. *Mac had to earn my support.
93.And he did.
94.Because Mac is not from the coast.

??? Last I check, Panama was coastal.

95.Because Sarah Palin oozes “flyover land”. *America’s “flyover land”
is not only this country’s heart and soul; it’s this world’s best
hope.

IYHO. Its also a backwater.

96.Because liberalism’s track record for setting economies on the
right path is 0 wins, hundreds of losses, and (with the New Deal) one
weak tie. *And we need better than that.

LOL, and you gotta quit with the coolaid.

97.Mac hasn’t forgotten the hard lessons of war.
98.Obama would have no reason to have known ...

Clearly you just don't get it. Because our President has a middle

ties him to every Islamic fundamentalist nutjob in the Middle East who
may or may not have the same name. Of course, my middle name is

Mr. Johnson here must somehow be tied to the OK City bombing. It's
simple. Just suspend any semblance of common sense or simple
