Yes.

Can't get anything past you. ;). But note the use of the weasel words
"tend" & "most".

But that would mean that Wolfgang would have to be what he calls a
"careful reader!"

The careful reader will have noted that I agreed with Bob and amplified on
that theme in a response to Bob posted (according to my computer clock) some
17 minutes before your astute observation and implicit comment on character.

Wolfgang
or maybe i missed something.

As for the time, although it was posted after your second post, I hadn't
read your second post until "now". The way I generally post is to read
through ROFF and put any posts I want to responding to in a Drafts
folder and then when I get a chance, I go back and respond to them as a
group. (Which is why my posts are generally grouped together in terms of
the time stamp.)

I was just giving you **** about your "careful reader" comments. It was
a dig but it wasn't meant as an assault on your character (I'd be more
direct if I want to do that!). I also don't think that being a "careful
reader" or not is a matter of character.

I guess we have to let them into the Oregon Country, but nothing says they
get to sleep on any park benches.

About joining the northland, more likely we take back some land into the
Oregon Country and start the N.W. anew.

We can open talks at the next western clave if we can get a Canadian to
attend.

I'm married to a Canadian, and I fished the Crow last month.

Does that count?

Chuck Vance (and I stayed in a Holiday Inn once)

Works for me.

Still wanting to get up to Canada and fish, if they let me in.
