I'd do my best to leave 9/11 out of the equation.

Good point. And I'd try to leave 'all' behind, too.

I think answers are more useful about places the writer has been to.
I've heard of lots of places, but most of them, when I got there,
weren't what I'd expected.

My favourites are

Some of the small mountain streams in Corsica
The river Wylie, in Wiltshire
The Finn, in Donegal

My wife asked me, "if you couild go anywhere in the world for a fly fishing

I answered immediately, "The Seychelles!"

Then I got to wondering if that is really the very best, since I have never
been there or any really exotic fly fishing locals.. So fellow Roffians, how
about your opinions on the absolute ultimate fly fishing destination -- IF
money was not a consideration, where would you go now with 9/11 and all?

Chris

I'm thinking of moving ot Victoria or thereabouts. Good fishing, maby
not the best in the world, but not bad.

Yeah, if BushCo steals the election again this time Canada sounds
like a good option for me too. And Ireland, I've always been fond
of Ireland.

I've already looked into Canada. Didn't score high enough. Didn't
speak French well enough and for some reason they seem to have enough
semi-skilled factory workers already. YMMV, in fact I'm sure it would.
I guess my only other option is to stock up on Kalishnikovs and banana
clips. At least they're legal now.

Hm.....you going to be carrying any of those this weekend?

I got your email and was going to respond the same way, but I got to
thinking that would be pretty gauche.

I won't be able to make it this time around. I'd completely forgotten about
the Avalanche event and made other plans. For what it's worth, I wouldn't
have been able to make it anyway.......what with jail and hospital visits.

Wolfgang
on the bright side, there's kayaking and cooking indian.
