I don't what kind of frogs they have in AZ or MI but I have never seen a
frog that looked like one of Gil's.. Is there a picture of one of Gil's frogs somewhere. Some soft baits look like a bit of an abstraction of the real thing. For instance Bo.Hawg Frog, Uncle Josh Crawfrog, Spring Lizard Pup, etc. |

Thank you for the reference. To me they look very much like frogs. At one time
i used live frogs. They tightened up the regs to the point where it is no longer feasible to use live frogs. Basically I can only take one (caught myself) frog per fishing outing. If I was to use an artificial frog it would be one with a lot of leg action (ie.ribbon type legs). |
