Just back from several days in Michigan. hex's were on, just not on the
sections I chose to fish at that time . Spent a great day wading the Mason
tract and another on the Manistee. Had someone try to kill me in an Ausable
boat but the wife read the fine print on the life insurance policy. Share
great times with old friends. Caught lots of fish on dry flies, just nothing
bigger than 14". And determined that Charlie Brown's kite eating tree has
nothing on me when it comes to really mucking up a cast.

My newsreaders said I had some 300+ unread messages.

From what I gather: (and apologies to Cyli)

1. Some folks who fished Alaska disagree on how close to a bear they should
get. And who has the bigger dick?

2. An expatriate Canadian and a Texan/Missippian, are trying to out-Mexican
each other? And who has a bigger dick?

3. An expatriate Alaskan retold a joke that's been posted a thousand times
and said something incredibly ignorant about pre-war Iraq and terrorism
therefore tripping on his dick.

4. lacourse had a family member pay the ultimate sacrifice (condolence's
dave) and of course it turned into a rehash of old battles and who has the
bigger dick?

5. Claspy went to Mass but the Mass boys kept him away from the poetry
proving they had bigger dicks.

is this a fair rehash or do I need to read the rest of the freeking
messages?

Well, I can only assume you mean Chuck and I. I have no idea if he's an
ex-pat Canadian, but I'm not a Texan/Missippian (or even a
Texan/Mississippian). And I have no idea who has the bigger dick, but
if that sort of thing is REALLY important to you...Chuck does! Chuck
does! Go get him, you big silly tiger, you.

is this a fair rehash or do I need to read the rest of the freeking
messages?

See above.

I was just trying to get a condensed version of what I missed, seemed be a
lot of one-upmanship to me every where I turned or every thread I tried to
follow. But curiosity got the best of me anyway and I read down to under 100
not read before I hit the *mark all read* option. Seems a few more threads
where someone had to be the alpha male. I thought Jon used to do the
abriging but maybe it was the seldom heard from Jimbo. Either way, neither
Jon nor Jimbo would mention swing dicks, they're too nice.

The only thing I know about mexico is it has mexicans, they export tequila
and mexicans, and *real* mexicans that I know make tamales, burritos, and
enchiladas. And generally speaking they taste good.

You and Chuck can swing it all you want, my wife just passed her 10-year
remission anniversary and I've gone on out of town fishing trips 15 of the
last 45 days with 10 more scheduled in the next 40 days plus the September
UP thing. Added to my 3-4 times a week hour or so on the local bass/bream
ponds. Life is good for me, for a change.

This is a very scary paragraph.

Very cool. Not your fishing (though that is nice), but you're brides
anniversary. Congrats from me and mine.

Especially considering that reports indicate that Uruguayans taste
great...less filling, too...(...in honor of the World Cup and its
official beer....)

Um, pretty damned sure THIS ain't gonna help,

Well, at least we know the official finger food of the Uruguayan team.

I wondered how long it would take someone to notice that. I re-read that
paragraph this morning and had an "oh-****!" moment.

Congrats from me and mine.

Thank you to you and the others for the well wishes. One day at a time.

I thought maybe the hospital had figured out a new cost savings strategy
for the Atkins diet folks...
