I was fishing the edge of a sunken rockpile. Now, there's 8 inches of freshly fallen snow, so my year might just be done. 2 inches here and my battery was dead when I tried to leave for a fish fry. I got it started though...Not much will keep me from the Friday nite Walleye fry here in town. ***We ended up with a final total of 12 inches of snow. AND, I managed to screw up the snowblower. They don't work at all as a chipper shredder, and after trying to run a small log through the blower, I kind of bent things up..... But, I did get out for a fish fry at the Al-Gen. SNIP My concern is...Do you know anything about fishing the Mighty Mississippi at Alma? Head hunter called today to ask if I would be interested in spending a year or so there. ***I do know that there is some pretty good walleye/sauger fishing in the Alma area. The bass fishing should be good in the backwater areas, and there's a lot of good hunting in the area as well. That's Buffalo county, home of some amazingly large whitetail, IF you can find a place to hunt...... Driving home from work today I saw some guys fishing from the bank near my
house and some more guys loading their boat on the trailer. What really sucks is when it is almost 80 degrees in November and you can't go fishing. That's my on topic post for this week. ![]() "Charles Summers" wrote in message ... Here's a solution to the lack of activity. Say something stoopid about the Boomerang Fishing thinggy.
