BTW, any you turkeys give up on the bobber yet? I've seen the light
and I've become a reformed nympher -- no more bobbers for this lad.

d;o) Didn't I see Mr. Charles using a SI on the Saugeen about four weeks ago?

BTW, I promise to finish that film this week if the sun ever comes out.
Probably take lots of pictures of the new RS-6. Took it to the track on
Monday. I've never been in a car, including a race car, that goes that fast so
quickly. I'll post the pics of your beautiful Saugeen Salmon that you caught
on a strike indicator.

Bite me Louie

That prime specimen was taken on a magnificent rendition of a
classically tied spey fly on the end of a traditional down-and-across
swing. And I have its mangled remains to prove it. At no time did a
bobber ever adulterate my line.

You, OTOH, rolled a bloody great egg, underneath a bloody great
bobber!!!!

BTW, can't wait to get my greedy little clutches on your RS-6. EG

Heard he was a bit of a ******* too. He married a lady of minor means, went
through her dough, chucked her out and got a divorce, leaving her a poor
ex-skues of a woman.

I have a picture of a sign on the Madison in Yellowstone that says
"Fly Fishing Only" on it. The Yellowstone regs say:

"THE MADISON RIVER, THE FIREHOLE RIVER, AND THE GIBBON RIVER
(DOWNSTREAM FROM GIBBON FALLS)

a. These three rivers (not including the tributaries) are restricted
to fly-fishing only (use only artificial flies regardless of the type
of rod or line)."

Yep. Just found it in "area-specific regulations." Have you ever seen a
spinner there? They can't use leaded split shot, so I would imagine they'd
have to use that bubble thingy.

Not from where I was standing. Big ole orange thingy it was.

Yes. And I learned something on that trip. Your guide is not always right.
The fish I hooked up with were on the purple and white streamers I used the
previous year. Eggs suck.

Only if Scott is there so we can hard-ass him about it. d;o)

My guess would be the bubble too. With a bubble you
would still need to get the depth right and get a good drift, though,
so I don't think spinning gear would have any advantage - probably
isn't easy to mend line with mono either. g

Exactly. I've seen spinners fishing streams with the bubble, but they were
using worms (or a bait sack).

The RS-6 ain't gonna see any racing on a dirt road - wheels and tires too
expensive. However, any time ya wanna go on pavement, you let me know. d;o)
Now, if I go to Penns, I'd bring the Land Cruiser, and that wheezer APOS driven
by an old wheezer like you will be no match for the "Farm Implement." This
time, *I* go first and throw stones at you. If you are within 200 feet when we
stop at the end, you win. However, I expect the speeds to be such that your
vehicle will again fail like it did last year. APOS (Look for the union
label.......)

d;o)

BTW, who you bunking with? Is there room for me?
