Wow-- name from the past. IIRC, when I was last in Cleveland Martin

Defense time gets a tad fuzzy!)

Nah, that was me, Scott. :-)

Man, I hope things weren't THAT fuzzy-

What were the years you were in Cleveland?

Hey-- I heard the Euc closed! Is this true?

Yup.

For those (perhaps all) not in the know, the Euclid Tavern was a great bar,
not far from the unversity.

I liked the Phi Zappa Krappa poster.

And Wednesday night Mr. Stress Blues Band, when Stutz was playing bass for
him.

So that would make Edwards Kerry's Mini-me? If I heard "John Kerry
and I have a plan" one more time I would have puked. Did he EVER get
a sentence out that didn't include the words John Kerry?

More telling, I think, was that Darth didn't mention his boss's name
once!

4 times while Edwards said "John Kerry" 33 times, twice in an answer
when Gwen Ifill (who did a very good job, IMHO) asked the candidates
specifically NOT to mention the ticket header's name.

Man, will I be laughing when in five or six years we hear Cheney keep
repeating "I choose to assert my Fifth Amendment rights"

He should have done that sooner. Last night, he pointed everyone at a
George Soros website. Ooopsy!

I just saying that repeating someone's name over and over again gets
tiresome, and I'm not inferring anything about the rest of the content
(not in this arena anyway). For example:
OBROFFStan Gula and I had a plan and went fishing out at the Quabbin a
few weeks ago. Stan Gula and I caught quite a few little fish, and Stan
Gula caught a decent size bass. Stan Gula manned the tiller this time so
I had more time to fish. Stan Gula mentioned the wind kept Stan Gula and
I at trolling speed, even when Stan Gula had the motor off. Stan Gula
and I were out most of the afternoon, but Stan Gula and I didn't have
near as much fun on the Quabbin as Stan Gula and I normally do on
Pottapaug Pond (Stan Gula's favorite.)

Hey Stan! "You're so vain, ....."

timmaaaay, i can only say that when a man somehow has the patience to
document the number of times that one man said another man's name on
something as mind numbing as a political debate, my hat is off to him.
you got one helluva strong intellectual stomach, bud.

yfitons
wayno (if dubya wins, my guess is our boy timmaaay is on the short list
for sec'y of the interior...and we could do worse, doncha know)

.. . .or I'm able to use the "search" function on a browser page with the debate
dialog. Take yer pick.

Thanks, but I'd have to decline. I'd be telling *all* those boys, repeatedly, to
go **** themselves, and I think you're only allowed one of those. ;-)

And I just *happen* to be going to Tommy's for lunch today. An egg cream
and a stop across the street for a new poster for my office :-)
