Default Good Riddance to 'Clave Raffles

Some folks just like to give stuff away without getting anything in return.
I donated a graphite rod to the pot at Ennis and recieved, in return, a fair
bamboo rod. Left me feeling kind of empty; when you try to be a generous
donor and get something better in return it just ain't the same.

Good'ol Mr. Wilson!

Don't tell me you're still reading this drivel. Some of us have a good
excuse or two for transponding hereabouts, but I happen to KNOW that you
know better.

What's your plans for fishing this summer?

Danl

Ahhh, but we *could* live just off of my income, ****tard. I don't
give a good **** what you think, Choco. Anyone that has to have their
own bedroom and bathroom at a clave is a ****in' pussy.

Ahh, now *there's* the camaraderie I was lookin for! Somebody hep me! What's
the first 2 lines of Kumbaya? All together now....

Danl

hmmm. Dave, remind me....what was the last clave that you didn't have more
posh accommodations than Choc's camping trailer?

That's the word I was waiting to see.
Now I can go read another thread.

Good points, Danl. Let's have an end to this raffle perversion. It's about
time. However, we need a substitute social event.

I suggest a potlatch. :-)

Thus demonstrating that you have no more clues about social dynamics in
other cultures than in your own.

um......or should i be expecting some lovely gifts real soon?

Oops. Then I suppose it was bad of me to have giggled at his joke?

I like that Charlie!
Great post to put closure to all this hostile activity.
I thought for a minute that we all had one thing in common...fly-fishing.

Dave,

I don't know what happened at the clave, but with all due respect
you
are off base here. You're getting people piling on you which is
unfair,
but you are feeding it. Both you and Charlie are good people and
you're
gonna regret some of the things you are saying...eventually.
