OT Happy Birthday...

A very strange bird is the ostrich, can´t fly, just runs overland,
whenever the poor thing feels threatened, it sticks its head in the
sand,
This particular posture is useless, and as a defence has no class,
as some clever natural enemy, may just kick it straight in the ass.

If one were given to ponder, on the reasons for various things,
one might be tempted to wonder, why an ostrich does not use its wings?
It can run very fast if it wants to, and apparently kick like a horse,
but it uses none of these powers, maybe it doesn´t like force?

Of course men are not much like an ostrich, most are able to think,
which naturally begs the fair question, and causes one to waste ink,
on attempting to answer the riddle, that baffles a good many brains,
why some fail to use their powers, and languish in ignorant chains.

Ostriches don´t pursue knowledge, it´s hard when your head´s full of
grit,
perhaps it´s the same for some people, and why they are lacking in
wit?
pondering such is quite pointless, as in order to grasp their sad
plight,
you would need to relinquish thinking, be content with a head full of
****e.
