Uh huh. I see. O.k., now explain why it is that when the price of oil
skyrocketed up to about $50 a barrel I paid a measly $3.59 for a gallon of
gas, and recently, when the price of oil plummeted to a pitiful $100 per
barrel, I was raped to the tune of $2.83 for the gas.

Uh , maybe because you buy gasoline rather than crude oil. The price of
crude oil is only one of the (and rarely the major) factors affecting the
price you pay at the pump for gasoline.

Yeah, yeah......I know all that. I just wanted the Southern Mississippi
School of Munny and Stuff's ever-amazing perspective on it.

However, I think you've spoiled any chance we had of getting that this time
around.

Wolfgang
well......there will be other opportunities.....many many of them.

Well, that, and he's a dumbass...a lack of common sense is the major
factor affecting most things he does...

As to Frank not stepping foot inside the library while studying for
his masters, well, there's a story behind that. He was banned. We
couldn't afford the insurance. :-)

It actually had more to do with surviving on a diet of bean burritos
and egg salad sandwiches. Never knew that book binding glue could
melt so easily.

Thus demonstrating that mere survival is hardly sufficient justification for
staying alive.

Sort of raises some disturbing speculation about how they make the stuff in
the first place, ainna?

By the way, my survival was never in doubt. The survival of those
around me however....

Perhaps the most dubious claim ever put forward in this forum. Ask anybody
who's seen you in action.

Shades of barley stew, eh?

I'm just glad you didn't stoke up on egg salad and bean burritos before
sitting beside the campfire at Fisher's shack in da Yoop. We put a new roof
on it this fall......it would have been a real nuisance to have to put a new
shack under the roof first.
