I think a few of them could be lightened up a bit though. Nice job. Thanks. You may be right about the lightening, but they look about as bright on my monitor as I remember it being when I took them. I just got a new flat screen that has sRGB mode and am still going back and playing with some of the pictures I have taken. Charlie, Hope you're not offended by my comments. Here's what I did with 2 of your shots: 1. http://www.njflyfishing.com/DSC_112720small1.jpg 2. http://www.njflyfishing.com/DSC_1197.jpg I'm not offended at all. It may be a 'monitor' thing, though, since both of yours look a little too light on mine. I did use Photoshop on mine to match what I recall of the lighting at the time I took them. In the 1st one the lighting really was kind of gray, http://66.156.89.242/Web-DSC_1125.jpg is of the same area when the sun peeked through. Thanks for taking the time to adjust the pictures. I appreciate your comments and critiques, they can only help me take better pictures. Sorry for the double post here, but just wanted to tell yah that I liked that photo so much, I made it my wall paper! Thanks for posting it. -=Paraleptropy=- http://www.neflyfishing.net 0 Limit,Catch -n- Release |

Yeah, I think you're right about the monitor thing. I have a few different monitors over here and the photo's look somewhat different on each of them. I must admit though, your web-DSC 1125 is gorgeous!!!! Keep up the great work! -=Paraleptropy=- http://www.neflyfishing.net 0 Limit,Catch -n- Release |

The two that are darker just look like they were taken on a heavily overcast day, which I'm guessing they were. Willi |

Here's what I did with 2 of your shots: 1. http://www.njflyfishing.com/DSC_112720small1.jpg 2. http://www.njflyfishing.com/DSC_1197.jpg I'll remove them from my host as soon as you indicate you've downloaded them. What I've done to them was use photoshop to lighten up the levels a little bit. Notice the photo with the blue sky. Much more vivid now than before. I've done the same with the other photo but to make the other photo stick out a bit more, I'd have to do more work on it because of the clouds. They get very distorted when you make the levels too high. The 1st photo still needs some work though. The foreground could be made a bit more vibrant. Anyhow, the reason I've bothered with your photo's is because I really do enjoy them. The scenary is just breathtaking. Thanks for posting. -=Paraleptropy=- http://www.neflyfishing.net 0 Limit,Catch -n- Release |
