OK, as another hard-drinking librarian, I am ashamed to say that
I've never even tried Campari. What does it taste like?

Like the warm breeze across a Tuscan vista.

Like the curve of Sophia Loren's hips.

Like the song of a gondolier.

Like the...

Well, it's red and it's kinda bitter and herb tasting, syrupy just on its
own with just a hint of sweet.

Well you are not the first to find Hegi less than perfect,

Still, she was all the rage 29 hours ago.

but at least she
and a few others have tried to positively address the issue of
intergenerational guilt and personality disorders endemic with children

of
the Third Reich.

Ah, the sins of the fathers and all that, eh? Well, I suppose anyone who
traded in that coin would also be content to rest on their laurels, ainna?

Wolfgang
who, busy enough with his own life, can think of no good reason to try to
live someone else's.

That may well be, but none of this would come up if you weren't so prone to
set yourself up pretty consistently as the loud and didactic arbiter of who
is racist, sexist, or anti-Semitic whenever you hear something about
ethnicity, women, or Israel that you don't understand. Combined with the
instant put-down of any post with generational content, its is a pretty
consistent pattern.

The "sins of the father" crap dodges the issue. Bottomline is its like you
are wearing a sign and have arranged for your own punishment for something
you didn't do, but fatalistically want to be punished for. With a pattern of
taunts, you successfully bait others (me included) into punishing you. And
that is weird. I sincerely wish that I was not susceptible to this game.
