The "did not" response is typical of children who cannot give arguments or rational explanations for their fantasies. The facts under discussion would require actually referencing the science or at least an authoritative condensation such as http://www.grida.no/climate/ipcc_tar/wg1/index.htm. And the first part of the summary negates the complete paper! "Projects scenarios of future climate change using a wide range of models of future emissions of greenhouse gases and aerosols" The total focus is on greenhouse gases and aerosols. Not what is the actual global warming and what are the causes. There is no mention of sun activity, or ocean temp cycles (El Ninos, La Ninas), Magnetic field affects. Is a biased report. If you did that in university, you would not receive an A. |

A number of us here are, including myself. Check out the scientific literature, check out the scientific agencies and groups. There really is no debate about the cause. Actually I am scientifically trained. My degrees are in engineering, As I said, you're no scientist. Engineering is no more science than a car mechanic is an automotive engineer. and bioengineering. If you are a scientist, you are incompetent. The Kyoto group were all "scientists" The sciences of Psychology, etc. You are lying. Look at the scientific literature. And are you claiming the National Academy of Sciences is incompetent? NASA? |

There are still some who argue for creationism. You're never going to have 100% agreement. But if you read the scientific literature and look at what agencies like NAS, IPCC, NASA, NOAA, EPA, andf AGu say, you'll see it's as settled as anything gets in science. You have accepted that CO2 is the culprit at this time and your mind is now closed. I've accepted that the earth goes around the sun too. Have you? Just to bring a little levity into the conversation, I don't know who is right and who is wrong, all I know is I am freezing my butt off where I live. I don't know when it has been this cold before. It generally doesn't get this way I understand until we are in a nice warm climate, generally January or Feb. My husband and I are snow birds. We normally don't have the snow we have either. I would like some of that Global Warming right now! |

As in real estate, location is everything in local temperature. josh halpern |

If you pay my gas bill I will do it though. ;-) I don't know why I said that, I won't, it is cold out there. OK I understand what you are saying, I am just being Stinkweed. I will leave you all alone and let you continue your debate. Just thought I would lighten it up a bit. Hope I didn't offend anyone. ;-) |

Then you are a liar. Plastic insulation is made from oil. When you burn oil, you are removing it from the future reservoir of cheap plastic insulation.
