All this is not intended to defend Walmart. But if you really want to
get mad, get mad at Big Pharma, which has been gouging all of us
severely for many years. Far worse than the oil companies.

Walmart is certainly the largest retailer of pharmaceuticals in the
world. They take a cut.

It would be interesting to know if Walmart can bully Big Pharma the
way it bullies other manufacturers. I would guess Walmart has much
less "countervailing power" in that arena.

Almost half the people who vote in the US believe that man
did not evolve but was created, as is, about 10,000 years
ago. Why in the hell shouldn't we make fun of them ? They
are just as Barnard says, ignorant, superstitious rednecks
and they are also the core voters of the Republican party.
