Key work being "methinks". Therein lies your problem, friend.

I'd make a genuine effort to dumb down my vocabulary for you
Louie but it just wouldn't be natural, ya know what I mean ?

As far as your "gullible rednecks" remark - Walmart supplies them with

Right -- the clothes they'd be making at a good wage if Walmart hadn't
outsourced their jobs to some hellish third-world sweatshop.

All this is not intended to defend Walmart. But if you really want to
get mad, get mad at Big Pharma, which has been gouging all of us
severely for many years. Far worse than the oil companies.

Walmart is certainly the largest retailer of pharmaceuticals in the
world. They take a cut.

It would be interesting to know if Walmart can bully Big Pharma the
way it bullies other manufacturers. I would guess Walmart has much
less "countervailing power" in that arena.

As far as your "gullible rednecks" remark - Walmart supplies them
with the only clothes they can afford. Your remarks smacks of
elitism. To many, Walmart is a Brooks Brothers store, and you
should not make fun of their customers.

Barnard's remarks don't smack of elitism, they are in fact
elitist. And good for him !!

Almost half the people who vote in the US believe that man
did not evolve but was created, as is, about 10,000 years
ago. Why in the hell shouldn't we make fun of them ? They
are just as Barnard says, ignorant, superstitious rednecks
and they are also the core voters of the Republican party.
Methinks your newfound egalitarianism smells a whole lot
like political partisanship.

Hey Ken and Steve - don't look now (well, you can peek if you want), but
you have a have a top-posting dumbass liberal as your usenet pal.
Yeeeeehaw!

I think wearing it tomorrow is exactly the right thing to do. Bring a
friend....possibly a newspaperman. Getting a front page story in the
local
rag with the manager's name might be a perfect way to start off a
beautiful
relationship

Maybe I can ensure that Orvis Corporate hears about it too.

Now, THERE'S a thought...
