22nd-26th of June will do nicely. It's on the calendar.

Cool, it's early but are going to want to camp or would you want to split
the cost of a cabin if I can get one cheap enough. Even the "cheap" motels
in Grayling go for 60+ a night that time of year.

Either would work for me. Let's wait a bit and see who else is interested.
I know for sure that Bill Claspy wants to go. I can easily twist Joel's
arm.....if he has anything like a hole left in his schedule for the rest of
his life. Guarantee a trip to that lawyer's shack and we can probably tease
one of his colleagues up from down in N.C. (especially if we can convince
him that Michigan bugs are the ones that couldn't hang with the big kids in
WI......and the pasties are nice and fresh).

And, who knows, there may be a few others out there I haven't entirely
alienated.........hey, not EVERYBODY reads ROFF......yet.

Wolfgang

Some of us easterners are like that too. I take off
the noisemaker part as soon as I get a new reel.

Sheesh, I bet you guys fish with flies made out of foam too

I don't like Fortenberry, either. :-)

I suspect Fortenberry would be hard to fish with, probably ok on the forward
stroke but on the back cast I doubt there would be much in the way of flex.
After a while the arm would get kind of tired too as he's probably a little
too heavy to cast repeatedly but on the other hand he'd probably do a decent
job protecting tippets.

That would have worked a lot better if Steve had said "I don't like fishing
with Fortenberry". (= Agent wants to spell that "Whortleberry". wtf? ;-)

Fwiw, the truth is he's as entertaining to fish with as anyone with whom I've
had the pleasure...

/daytripper (...and that includes flatlanders who think the Davidson River is
worth more than a ten minute drive ;-)

Hey! We should call this the "Michigan Asshole Clave Extraordinaire"! We
could break all previous attendance records!

Wolfgang
come one, come all.

So I'm better at numbers than comedy, sue me.
