I'll take a shot:

7b. 3X for me, but I'll have some 4X just in case.

3X?? Are you serious?

Danl

Used 3X and 4X with the big nymphs and dries last year myself. I'm sure
some of the fish may mind, so 5x may have been better, but did O.K.. I have
an SP, so it's made to cast 3x with the big flies. If you have some flex in
your rod, you may need a 6 weight to be comfortable. Just an amateur's
viewpoint.

The 3x just allows you to recover from mistakes such as draggin bottom, and
if you are fortunate enough to yank it out of a snag on the bottom, you then
put it into a tree...

I'll look for all of your TRs, have a great one!!

I don't think that will be happening anytime soon. Wolfgang has managed
to **** off quite a wide range of people that attend the Western Clave
including our esteemed Clave master. Although some have merely expressed
a dislike or feelings of pity for him, others have expressed downright
disgust and even hatred.

There's a lot of people in this world who hate very easily. Fortunately
(for you me, anyway) folks like us rarely feel the brunt of it. It's
usually dealt out on their women, children, pets......and anyone else that
twenty or so of them can ambush......when well-lubricated and armed. Pick
your friends wherever you like. It doesn't matter much to me.

Wolfgang
but hey, thanks for the pity.

I'm sure that Wolfgang would be treated with all the respect he deserves.

Stupid. Just plain stupid.

Wolfgang
who, it probably need not be added, is very afraid.

I am relying on everyone to make sure that Frank gets Honked at the Happy
Hour Bar, continuously. Also, have him lead you on any trail/hike, he's a
bear magnet so you'll be fine. Frank don't let the brownish looking bears
bother you a bit, they're harmless compared to the black bears. You can
even play with them if you like, they're tame.

Good thing you don't hold any grudges...

Often taunted by trout. Almost entirely harmless.

As evidenced by the kind words directed at me in a.b.p.f. :-)

The grocery in West Yellowstone had liquor within certain hours.
Jeff/Joe, what was the name of that place?

Mike -what is your mailing address? I have a couple of those flies with
long white bodies you might use next year--they were all over the sky but
did not come down before dark dark---you might be able to use them next
year'

everyone says next night they were all over the water at Penn's

Big night of the clave must have been when Dave PA took jeff to tiddy
bar...it only cost one dollar in your mouth to get her to roll them all
over your face !!!!
something was wrong with the girls they all forgot to wear ANY clothes---
when the guys offered to pay for a nude lap dance for me I had to remind
them that forty years ago in Korea I could really get rising excitement
over such an act--actually probably better off that I did not bring Sussy
home from KOrea with me but we were often closely attached.

Sorry you are not making western clave this year--how about New Zealand in
Dec 2006 ? Probably
that will be my last clave unless Roff comes up with a senior division where
you fish one day, rest your body one day, then fish the next.

thanks always for you attention and consideration
Joe

who, if for no other reason, will probably need the off days for scheduled
beatings.

Camaraderie, it's all about camaraderie!

Oh and by the way, that news server I told you about, it don't get a.b.p.f.
either. I don't know what I was thinkin'?

I can send ya the pics I took to day, if ya still want them. But if you
have a dial up service, it's gonna be slow goin' ya know. I could send one
a night for week and a half. Tell me what ya would like me to do.

And if I don't hear from ya soon, I'm gonna kick your ass 9 ways from
Sunday, and all in the name of good 'ol Camaraderie!

Love,

Mark

I've got a T1 connection at the above email address. I can vacuum pictures
off the web a lot faster than you can send them.......you may fire when read
Mr. Gridley.

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

Wolfgang
