I was in Walmart this evening. I go in there about once every 6 months
for something they sell that costs 4X as much elsewhere.
At the register, the register operator called over the front end
manager. She whispered something in his ear. Hmm, thinks I, have I
overstepped the limit on my credit card (no, its paid off monthly)?
Has their Xray scanner sensed the box opener in my pocket? Do they
think my bottle of water is an explosive?
I was wearing a nice t-shirt that has a royal coachman embroidered into
it, with the words "Bite Me" over the top.
The manager asked me "not to wear that t-shirt into their store again.
Some may consider it offensive."
I was gobsmacked. Speechless. I nodded assent and left.
Only on the way home did the clever rejoinders come to mind. I think I
wear it in there tomorrow. Any ideas?

Well Frank,
the manager was offended not of the words, but over the Royal Coachman,
should have used the Rotten Banana Stone Fly.

Well, hip, hip, horay. The only person that counts is the one in the
store that found it offensive. She's the only one that matters.

That's right, WallyWorld's customers don't mean **** to them!

I
have the exact same shirt (and hat) and I too have worn it in public
and got stares from lots of folks.

So, you are incapable of taking your own advise?

The shirt may or may not be
offensive, but it is inappropriate in public.

Your shirt may very well be "inappropriate" in public, but Frank's could
never be offensive, in public nor anywhere else, as long as it is taken in
context. Anyone who doesn't understand should ask about the shirts meaning,
before assuming something that might be considered disgusting to them.

Wear it at a clave or
to your local fishing watering hole or fly shop, but it *may* offend
someone in public.

If that shirt is offensive to someone, in public, they need to get out more
often.

If you want attention, there are better ways of
getting it..... pink hair would look good on you, Tim, and if you want
to offend, let your dick hang out. d;o)

This is a public forum, ya know. I dare say that your previous statement
was offensive to some men in the group and possible many women.

You are truly a hypocritical Moron!

So you are implying that I might be one of the supposed rednecks, that

To the contrary. You have bragged over the years, especially to
Fortenberry, that you are a redneck and proud of it.

You don't really understand much in life do ya?

Besides, this wasn't about me, it was about the *poor* non-redneck
Nebraskans, remember? Old-timers kickin' in is it?

.I have two
brothers-in-law that are dyed in the wool rednecks, and *they* are
damn proud of it, as they should be.

I guess that would depend on one's definition of a redneck. Down this away,
a redneck is a low-life, much like yourself!

Frank isn't stupid.

Make up your mind! You said Frank was stupid several post back.

I said his wearing the shirt was a stupid move.

No it wasn't.

Sort of like you getting all ****faced and troublesome at the clave.
You aren't stupid either, but that was a stupid move.

Aren't you the picture of Jesus.

I'm sure the folks at Wal-Mart's corporate offices will be ever so
pleased to learn that they are to be relieved of the onerous
responsibility of making policy decisions for the corporation.....that
this task has in fact devolved onto a checker at a store somewhere in
the vicinity of Omaha.

I
have the exact same shirt (and hat) and I too have worn it in public

You really don't have so much as a vague notion of what the words you
use mean, do you?

Um.....this IS a public forum, isn't it?

****, it's no wonder this mutt wants his evil grandchildren dead.

Wolfgang
who knows offensive when he sees, hears, or smells it.
