When you first mentioned "thoracic outlet syndrome," I
thought it was a euphemism for a bullet wound in the
upper torso...

See "Sucking Chest Wound." But of course, all chest wounds suck.

I think the answer is fairly obvious, you've been fishing with bull****
rods. The only cure is to immediately give all of your ****ty graphite
rods and reels to the local youth fly fishing group and then visit your
favorite Morganton Fly Shop and replace each and every rod with a Sage
SLT or XP (SLT for trout XP for the those damn trash fish you catch)
With Matching Ross Evolution or Canyon Reels. An alternative would be
replace everything with Winston WT's and BIIx's.

The immediate financial pain will overcome the immediate chronic pain
in the short term while Wally will thank you in the long term and now
that you're using *real equipment* your chronic pain will go away.

only pain associated with me is "pain in the ass"... i've been trying a
case in which the other side claims TOS as the reason for complete
disability... seemed a bit exotic when i first heard it, so i mentioned
here.

will your prescription work for a "pain in the ass"? (and hold the
proctological quips). btw...i did acquire a cheap sage and ross rhythm
from wally some time ago. hasn't helped yet, but i like taking the
medicine. i guess i need to up the dosage?

Oh I misread that one, I thought you were suffering from it. All the
documentation I know of says TOS is treatable. And last I checked use
of your arms and legs generally ruled out being disable. But you're the
bar member, I just count the score.

i guess i need to up the dosage?

Obviously you do. But given the comorbid condition (pain in the ass) I
think a little anal retentive therapy in the form of a new Mauer or
Schoeder cane rod with a Peerless reel would be the only satisfactory
cure.
