Default NY Fishing License

Does anyone know of a place that I can get a New York Fishing License
on-line? I need one for next week and I live in the Boston Area. Don't
want to have to drive to NY.......

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I checked the NY State DNR site, I didn't see online license offered,
they do offer license via telephone 1-866 933-2257 but I doubt if you
would get it before next weekend. A Wal Mart in NY might be your best
bet.

I don't believe they're available online. Someone had mentioned that next
year they should be available.

Not sure about NY, but most states where I have called to get a license will
give you a number to use until you get the paper license. I have gotten
license that way from Alabama, Kentucky and Wisconsin.

You can go to any county's office and town hall type of thing. That's where I
got mine in July. Very friendly and quick.Much better than going to Wal-Mart.
