Default Norfolk Beaches

Does anyone know whether the fishing from beaches in Norfolk/north suffolk
is up to a lot nowadays? I used to fish there when I was younger but have
moved away now. The odd occaision when I have fished them since - well it
wasn't worth it. I'm told a lot of the trouble is caused by small trawlers
coming in really close the shore and scraping everything up. Is this so?

I visit Norfolk occaisionally to see my family (none fish) - is it worth
putting my rods in the car?

Regards

STephen
