Default ugly weather in NC

.....just read about a lightning strike up in Morganton, NC. I am
thinking of our longtime friends up that way, and hope all are well.
For that matter, I hope no one was seriously injured, ROFFian or
otherwise, in the strike.

You're a fisherman, aren't you? With every new stream, pool, or day comes
promise.

Glad you didn't pull a Dorothy/Toto, Walt.

Going through that right now. Literally had to strap the BBQ to the
porch rail.

Chores CAN kill. *Remember when your mom said that "a little work
never killed anyone?" *SHE LIED!!!
Rolled out the big ol' garbage can this a.m. Raining like hell and
wind gusting over 40. *Lid of the can popped open and I stopped it
with my face.
Now I've got a goose egg over the right eye and a perpetual half wink
going on. *Little work is dangerous.
