Default Fly fishing brother passes

Hello to All,

Dave Howard of Sacramento passed away this week from a battle with cancer.
Dave was one of the top fly fishers and fly fishing guides on the lower
American River. He was famous for his ability to catch fish and to teach
others what he had learned.

Dave was a professional photographer and produced one of the best fly
fishing videos of our time, "Striping For Stripers" filmed on the lower
American River.

I will remember him for the fact that he was called "Mr. Shad" on the river
and somehow out fished everyone. The top shad fly on the lower American
River is the "Dave Howard Special".

I think there will be a memorial service this Sunday for Dave.
