Default Winter Rainbow Fishing

I live in a forgotten valley in South Eastern British Columbia where
Kootenay Lake - 90 miles long - does not freeze up in the winter. We
catch Rainbow in the 10 to 25 lb bracket all winter. Our best fishing
months are Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb. We use covered boats with heaters and
when we get off the lake, it's out to Ainsworth Hot Springs for a
soak.

The Nov 10 Fishing Derby in Kaslo BC brought in a 20 lb 3 oz rainbow
for first place, 18 lb 0 oz for second place and 17 lb 12 oz for third
place.

You can see what we catch at http://www.woodburyresort.com/derby.html
These were at our October derby.

If you really love big Rainbow trout, come on out and join us!
